wow that's deadpool?

Not exactly... that's Weapon XI. Without posting too many spoilers (yes, I watched it - sue me) they're the same, but they're not. I think if you actually go back to the old comics they had nothing to do with each other, but they are linked in the movie. Weapon XI is played by Scott Adkins.


Edit: Going back to the old comics myself, I discovered that there was no Weapon XI at all - it stopped at X.

as for the movie, i dont want to spoil too much (or come off as the raging comic fanboy that i am), but its so filled with fail.

ive always been a big deadpool fan, and was psyched to see reynolds play the part. and he does a pretty good job of it in his limited time on screen, but they destroy the character before he ever gets a real shot at it.

i will cut the rest of the nerd rant, and just leave it with me not having high hopes going in, yet still being utterly disappointed. congrats to fox!

I'm still gonna go see it at theaters... even if I know I'll leave saying "they could have made it so much better".

Hypothetically, "from the trailer", Wolvie is still not dark enough. Compared to other comic book movies, from the trailer, it was above average.

Btw: Wolverine is, by far, the best comic book character created of all time.

Yeah, kinda sucked they ed up deadpool. Maybe he'll make a comeback if they ever do a Cable movie.

Liev owned as Sabretooth though. The casting was pretty good in this movie. It just wasn't dark enough and not well developed imo.

I thought Schreiber was the best character in the movie. It's too bad the first 3 X-Men movies made Sabrertooth out to be such a mindless ogre. He was a very cool character in the Wolverine movie...

I've heard the movie wasn't very well written. I will check it out eventually but I'm not in a rush to see it. The more and more I've seen of this movie the more and more I've thought this movie is going to be ed up.

X-Men series are the worst Halle Berry movies ever, even worse than Perfect Stranger and Cat Woman. Obviously 20th century fox cannot afford that many oscar winners/nominees no more, so they just collected several mediocre actors/actresses and let them make a movie around Hugh Jackman who is the only known actor in that movie, Hugh Jackman still isn't a big movie star though. I mean Hugh Jackman < Halle Berry, though Hugh earns a little bit more than Halle does. Hugh Jackman hasn't even got a nomination for Oscar.

Halle was a horrible storm.

Comic book movies need to quit going for the blockbusters by filling up these movies with big names who could give two s about the Character/Comic history they are portraying.

Movie was alright, nothing special, Gambit had one good scene IMO. Schreiver was easily the best character in the movie he owned his role really well. Also stay for after the credits because fox put in 2 different ones

I love me some wolverine. But the man love for him was apparently old even in the 80's. Just read the fan mail of the mid 80's run of Uncanny.

Magneto, Juggernaut, and Nate Grey are more uber than Wolverine, just to name a few from the x-line.

WTF are you talking about Sabretooth was in the first 10 minutes of part 1 and a log fell on him and we never saw him again.






Ima puff me a blunt of some White Widow and see this tomorrow. I know I'm going to hate it, but at least the hype was not as overly homerific and -like as The Dark Knight NAMBLA campaign.
