Brace is good, but Raji made him look better than he actually is.
A duo of Brace and Kelly sounds pretty good to me. The only 3 guys I would take with that pick are Crabtree, Curry, or Orakpo. After that, I would rather trade down.
You wouldn't want Maclin?
I think he's going to be a better wide out than Crabtree.
Maclin is a Ginn type player. Good, but not worth a #7 overall selection.
And I'd love to get Patrick Turner with a 6th round pick. A big target for the red-zone.
no he's not. He is a better player than Ginn in every aspect. Bigger, stronger, faster, won't drop nearly as many balls, probably even a better return guy as well. Dude runs a 4.3, and you know Al loves speed. Maclin=Roddy White
We'll see. And no way is he a better return man than Ginn. But yeah, he is a better WR.
Trade down and pick up Moreno. If not Crabtree or Sanchez.
But if Brace falls to the third round, the Raiders have to absolutely draft him. Of course, I doubt he falls that far.
I'd love for the Raiders draft to look like.
#7 - Raji
#40 - DHB, or Sean Smith
#71 - Chip Vaughn
#126 - Zach Follet
#216 - Patrick Turner
He doesn't run routes well, works best as a slot guy and a return specialist. We already have a guy that works well in that role, in Johnny Lee Higgins. I mean the guy returned 3 punts for TDs last year. We don't really need another. We need a guy that runs good routes, has good hands, and is a good jump-ball, bail-out type of target for Jamarcus Russell. Give me Crabtree all day.

at Crabtree being a better route runner. He didn't have to run for routes in their offense, same as Maclin. Maclin was only asked to run 3 different type of routes in college because of the offense he ran. That doesn't mean he isn't a good route runner. He has great hands, is close to 6-1, and had a 36 inch vertical at the combine. Tell you the truth, there isn't much difference between the two, except that Maclin is much faster and Crab is a little bigger and stronger. They will both be great players, but to act like Crabtree is far and away better is absurd.

I think we saw a bit of Crabtree's route running vs UT. He stopped at the perfect spot to run out of bounds for the game winning FG before that UT guy completely blew the tackle and he walked in.
As long as Al Davis is in charge, he will only have to run one route...deep.![]()
I want the Texans to draft CB Malcolm Jenkins......I wouldn't mind Knowshon Moreno to form a solid backfield with Slaton
you are clueless.
The knocks on both players are injury concerns and lack of having run NFL type routes.
no the main knock on Crabtree is injury concerns and 40-time.
No way Jerry Reese lets that happen!!

If I were a Gints fan I'd be all over that. BE was a monster in 2007 and can be again under the right cir stances. He's better than any of the stiffs the Gints are running out at WR right now, that's for sure.
No Anthony Henry and no Pacman? Cowboys need a corner badly. After that, maybe a safety and linebackers.
I'm not sayin I wouldn't wan'em just not for our 1st pick!
Besides, I like our young core, it just need a veteran leader!
