Will this series be as nailbiting as 2006?

Finally the chance has arrived for the Spurs to get some revenge. 3 years. Even though the Mavericks are not the same as 3 years ago, I can't wait to sweep these guys. I don't think this will be a close series at all. Back then, we had two 1-point games, one 2-point game, one 5-point game, and 2 overtime games with those 6 games decided in the final minute or so....From May 9, 2006 (first playoff game victory vs. the Spurs) to April 22, 2007 (first playoff game loss to the Warriors). the Mavs shot a BS percentage from the floor. Those days are long gone. So don't expect anything like the 2006 series. The Mavs are on the decline.

I think this series will be the one that propels the Spurs to the championship just from a psychological perspective. The Spurs really got screwed in the 2006 series and had they won that series, would have three-peated from 2005-2007. The Spurs have long waited to get some revenge.

Even though the Mavs are now the 6th or 7th best team in the West, I still think they'll overachieve against the Spurs and start looking like one of the best teams in the West. These guys love playing San Antonio for whatever reason.

I wish my team loved playing San Antonio. We'd have a couple of rings by now.

It will be great that after the 1st round only 1 Texas team will be left standing and it will be your Dallas Mavericks....for as much that has been talked about the Mavs its gonna be great to see the 2nd round virgins and the mighty Spurs at home

I respect the Spurs for what they've done but I have no respect for a team in Houston that hasnt won a 1st round series since 1997
