He's reverted to vintage form since there's only a year left on his deal. He's playing better than he has in the past 18 months.
His last 3 outings show a DNP right ankle, and two 15 PPG in 35 minutes. Very far from vintage JHo.

And he'll get spot rotation minutes accordingly. JJ Barea isn't deciding this series for either team, so why bring him up?
Because he's been starting for the last few games and will have to guard Mason or Tony. If JET starts to guard Parker, Barea is basically your entire bench at the guard position. Basically, this goes to counter the argument OV was making about depth.

We've owned your asses in spite of him. Why the irrelevant non sequitur?
But your team hasn't owned any ass since Kidd arrived. We've actually beat your team fairly consistently since then.

Far from his prime, but still a very, very good player. You're just not very good at this, are you?
LOL, Kidd was done in NJ *before* he even got to the Mavs.
It's a given he's not gonna stop TP, he's one of the most inconsistent scorer on your team, so how is exactly that he's going to help your team? You certainly are not very good at this either.

And these aint the 03, 05 and 07 Spurs. For what it's worth, I think the Spurs win this thing in 7. Your overconfidence is
    comical.
Go ahead and laugh. I don't think I'm overconfident at all. First game in two days. We'll see how we fare.

Whatever, playing against MAVs might be really hard, for Dirk's status is extremely good. And in the vote of which team would win the first-round matchup only half of the voters thought spurs could beat mavs. So, let's stop arguing, just see what'll happen.

That would be nice, but there are no safe bets. Hill hasn't gotten meaningful minutes down the stretch, and Marcus is playing for Austin. Besides, JV only needs enough minutes for his guy to catch fire.
By that comment I meant JV wouldn't be played, like MW, I knew he was in Austin.

I just want Hill to average 5 minutes this PO.

Tony Parker will outplay Jason Kidd so bad on both sides of the court, and that alone will be the difference. Mavs don't have Devin Harris anymore. The rosters are different this year. Dirk is more of a jump shooter only now. Jason Terry is a terrible defender.

Another reason I like the Spurs-- the Mavs are poor at defending the 3 ptr. The Spurs live and die with the 3 ball and if Mason, udoka, Finley and Bowen are seeing OPEN 3 ptrs the Spurs will win. Of course a lot also depends on Duncan's knees and his effectiveness.

    I guess we'll see.

I have absolutely no confidence that the Spurs can even drag this out to five games, but the Mavs fans up here seem absolutely sure that their team is going to win and win easily. The play by play guy for the Mavericks is already looking forward to the second round.

The Spurs are probably going to get pounded, but I'm gonna be rooting like crazy for them.
    Thats the spirit kid.

You can add picking the Suns and the Hornets...
    DOES NO COMPUTE...
, following game 5 of the hornets series, he said it was almost impossible for the spurs to win.

For those of you that are puzzled by this comment, considering the Spurs are 14-13 against the Mavericks since 2005, including the playoffs, you need to understand that Findog simply disregards games that the Mavericks lose, as though they never happened.

If Spur fan tries to tell you what actually means something, you get all bent out of shape and start calling people " got".

For the time being, if one is going to talk about "owning" someone else, I'm not sure what method is better than head-to-head record, and I presume we have to go back a ways, since I'm pretty sure the Spurs have won five of the last seven games.

The only thing the Mavs own is a western conference le, for which they are hugely ungrateful.

If you want, I can explain about the groups and the automorphism.

    It's basic.

Hollinger predicted the Spurs to miss the playoffs, as late as January.

    Things are looking good.

its comical that anyone has the spurs heavilty favored in this series. lol outside of TP, and Duncan's 1.5 kness, the spurs have nothing. So you spurs fans better hope to all that is holy that parker REMAINS healthy and hot. Duncan isnt in the same physical condition to put up 30+/15 boards this time around. So where is the production going to come from? Mavs have the edge at every other position. The main difference? The mavs scrubs are actually good compared to the spurs's scrubs.

    Mavs in 5.

The Mavs are one of the biggest underachieving teams in the league....half of their players look lazy or unmotivated. If they can put it all together i still think they can be a quality team.

I miss the days of playing the Suns. It made things so much easier.

Spurs were VERY fortunate to get Dallas. Perhaps the only playoff team they could for certain beat in 7. So, Spurs in a tough one, in 7.
    I'm thinking 6.

I'm kind of concerned about these new long guys the Mavs have ... Wright, Singleton, Hollins. Typical long athletic guys who give the Spurs trouble. That last game the Mavs played against the Rockets all went south for Houston once Hollins started D-ing up Yao Ming. Hoping their inexperience leads to another Mavs epic choke.

They've been garbage for pretty much all season long. On top of that, Carslile doesn't trust them enough to give them consistent minutes (with Wright being perhaps the exception). We will possibly see some of those guys not because they're any good, but because with Damp in foul trouble, neither Dirk nor Bass can really handle TD, so one of those other guys is gonna have to play. And to be honest, I can't wait.

Spurs are going to have a much harder time stopping Dirk than the Mavs are of holding Duncan and his rotting knees.
