Still, it's a good thing at some level for the actions of the powers that be to be challenged by the people. Either it hasn't sunk in, or it will never, what the federal government has done over the last half-year. A truly bipartisan affair, if there has ever been one. The moment Goldman Sachs' white shoes faced the prospect of stepping in mud, our representatives handed over a $700 billion blank check (orchestrated by the former Chairman and CEO of the firm, no less).

Mirror? Give me a break. I wasn't at the anti-war protests. Heck, I was deployed to GTMO in 02.

Just because I didn't agree with the reasonings behind going to war in Iraq means I'm anti-war in general.

Agreed. I just wish the tea parties were more about fixing the economy and giving alternate plans of what to do if AIG failed, and less about screaming that Obama is a socialist and how he's going to destroy America.

Thanks for the support. I'm just saying, a person can have reasonable qualms about a political decision, without think that ALL related decisions are bad.

For instance, there are some liberals who think all war is bad, all of the military is corrupt, and we should get rid of all nukes and guns. I think that's silly.

I assumed that your comment, "Sorry to hold up a mirror" was implying that I was one of these people.

Also, I agree that any movement that gets political parties to be worried about their cons uency monitoring how they spend is a good one! I just wish the rallies were more focused on that, and less seemingly focused on bashing Obama for a unique situation that was precipitated long before he was in office.
