Stern has already made calls to all the leagues refs, and they went something like this:

Sorry but Kobe would curbstomp LeBron in the Finals, it would ruin some of LeBron's legacy to make the Finals with Kobe waiting for him.
Everybody forgets the Lakers have blown out the Cavs twice this year...with Bynum and even without him.
The Lakers are a team that plays heavily in the paint area, Cavs have perimeter bigs.... just a terrible matchup for the Cavs.
Kobe has certainly lit it up the passed two appearances in the Finals. It's a shame he wastes all his energy in the Regular Season. Reminds me of LT.

David Stern does not set this up. It was the Lakers vs. Celtics last year because they were the best two teams. It wasn't debateable, it was a fact. Same thing this year. KG is out, Manu is out.....its going to take a MIRACLE for a team to beat Cleveland or LA in the playoffs.
Yet when they meet im sure most of you will have an excuse as to how Stern set it up. Despite the fact that they were both 65+ win teams with the two best players in the world.
