She wasn't talking to regular mainstream people.
She wasn't talking to regular mainstream people.
"you really don't need to be so antagonistic"

"i didn't say it was about republicans"

boy did she look stupid. she wasn't all high and mighty when her camera wasn't on her. just goes to show you there are ankle-grabbers then non ankle-grabbers.
I was hoping to hear the call from Mount Pleasant, Texas.
Wolcott looks like he needs a cup of coffee and an occasional workout. He was quick to try cover the smoldering remains of the Tea parties with a wet blanket. And though he may have been correct to remark on the lack of organization and numbers relative to antiwar and immigration protests, the respective*movements* lionized by Wolcott seem not to have survived the transition to Obama.
white folks are angry these days
That got told!
lol, that was great.
This whole tea bagging was anti OBAMA , you cannot deny this people!! you hate our President because he is black and smart and the republicans failed and now you guys are acting like a wounded animal fighting to stay alive and are complaining about everything this man does. I am surprised there were no white sheets out. BTW did anyone notice anyone of color in the crowds??? I didn't think so..
well, it doesn't make a lot of sense to protest Bush does it?
lol
you're probably right about a lot of people, but Bush started to sell us down the river and Obama is closing the deal.
I thought Obama was the president of America so wouldn't that make him every American's president or is he only the president to people that voted for him? Was Bush not the president to all of his haters and bashers?
it's the do-as-i-say-not-as-i-do era, man. get used to the double standards.
Did he say you shouldn't be protesting Obama?
No.
Have you guys ever gotten a point?
The tea parties were anti-out of control spending.
To bring race into it is just ignorant, but you sound like you don't have a clue any way.
There were people there that were proud democrats, liberals, etc.
Did you go to a tea party? I'm doubting it. The one here in Dallas had several minorities in it, and actually the only sign I saw with something derogatory on it was being held by a black guy.
Suggesting that Obama is mentally feeble and pussified, that he is venal and inept, that he is diabolical and conniving, that he is Mussolini and Hitler rolled into one and that he is hastening the demise of the American republic on one hand, while twitting Redskinfan for claiming Obama as his own President when really he is *everyone's President* on the other, is cheeky and strains credibility.
IMO you do not mean it, VLE.
Your side used to swing the hammer. Now it is the nail and you cry *oppression!*
AHF, roving ST reporter. That's all I have to say about that.
Sound off, Dallas!
??? hmm. don't know why i received that. i'm not claiming oppression. it is what it is. it's what i see and we all have to live with it until it changes. bush was my president and now obama is my president. they were both our president's. i've said in a previous post that before every meal, when i go to sleep and wake up, i pray to God for my family, friends, my country and my president. i commented with the "do-as-i-say-and-not-as-i do" 'cause the people that scorned bush said "he's not my president" yet they get pissed with the people that say "obama's not my president". you can't tell me that's not going now. capiche?
Bush was my president.
My horrible, horrible president.
Obama's politics seem, at least when he was running for Pres., as standard liberal Democratic more than anything else.
The GOP has yet not found a way to tap into the public's frustration with the bailouts. A primary reason is that so many in the leadership have been in favor of those and voted for them, while I would hazard to say that a majority of the party is not.
I think a fair line of attack on the current administration is that the country is in the midst of dealing with this financial crisis, and the administration has put forth a budget with significant amounts of new spending on new programs as if the government has unlimited resources at its disposal.
Capische.
I was summing up and rolled you unfairly into the judgment. I apologize for directing my post at you, VLE. I also see now your subtler point about hypocrisy, but it overlooks the obvious sarcasm inspiring liberal attacks on the patriotism of critics.
Sure, it's petty. It's way overplayed. It's tedious and phony and tiresome --
only a few months after the elections.
Payback is a .
Our political leadership is out of touch and government spends like there's no tomorrow. Fiscal restraint is totally out to lunch, and the forecasts are all dependably rosy. It's damn scary. Self-delusion has been the default state of government for eight plus years, and the recent reversal of power does not seem to have dispelled the curse. Quite the reverse. More continuity.
A trillion is the new billion.
Bush sucked ass, there's no doubt.
Bull ! They were there...
