After this one, you might need to create another one for Pop

I am an official member of this club. He sucked in every possible way today. If Pop starts him this entire series, I'll know why we lost.

Gooden AND Bowen need to start. Move Mason to bench for scoring punch from second unit. Move Bonner behind Thomas and Oberto in rotation. He can't even take a charge, so his fouls are useless.

What I saw from Bonner today was easily the WORST playoff performance by any Spurs player since I'm a fan, 1994

He has no toughness. I think he can't even play in a WNBA playoff game

Matt Bonner should not be starting, let alone getting 20 minutes a game. The fact that he started for almost the whole season is troubling enough, now it's happening in the most important games of a dynasty probably on it's downward slope. Bonner's ceiling is too low IMO. If he isn't hitting three pointers, he's a non-factor... play Gooden till he fouls out I say.

Oberto is a best option than Bonner. At least Oberto plays hard and he's not afraid of a game

18:06 played, 1 rebound, 0 points, 4 fouls, 1 steal and 1 turnover.... that's 18 minutes of 5 on 4 basketball in the Mavericks favor, they had a friggin power play, in basketball!! This has happened too many times this season, why is Boner still getting significant minutes? Kurt Thomas played just as poorly, except he had one more rebound... Let's hope this is an anomaly and not a pattern. Holy crap that was bad.

Yeah at least Oberto knows what it meant when he started his first playoff game. He was respectable enough that non Spurs fans during 2007, didn't him see him as a scrub but a legit role player for the two years he helped Timmy.

Non Spurs fans who watched tonight were ROFL @ Bonner.

Bonner had a horrible game; there's no doubt about that. But I'll bump this thread later in this series when he gets 13 points and 5 rebounds on 3 of 5 three-point shooting and is a key part of a Spurs victory.

    Let's see:

Bonner hasn't hit a shot since, I can't remember, 3 point shooting, What's that?, Defense-NEVER, and has a 1/4 inch vertical leap!, He stays in we're ed!

Is Pop just mind ing me? SIT HIS ASS OUT!

I have been saying Bonner is mentally weak and sucks. He just continues to prove me right. I've had ST members (I won't mention names) ride my balls for saying those things about Bonner. And, I will say it again, BONNER Sucks and has no business playing the minutes he's playing. I am ready to throw up on stupid Pop. This is disgraceful to see such an unproductive player get so many minutes in crunch time.

The problem started when Carlisle and the Mavs decided that they won't leave our shooters open. They made that mistake early in the game and Fin, Mase and Bowen made a few and we got ourselves a decent lead. After that the Mavs just stayed home on the corners the rest of the way and challenged Duncan and TP to beat them inside. TP didn't have a great game and we didn't have too many answers on offense in the second half.

From that minute onwards, Bonner should have been nailed to the bench. I was shocked to see him in the second half, I have no idea what Pop was thinking. That's when they started scoring in the paint and shutting us out on the boards. I'd rather give those minutes to Gooden; playing alongside Duncan/Parker could help him get into some offensive rhythm than having to be the main offensive option in our bench lineup.

If you think a discard from the Raptors is going to be a starter on a championship team, this is what you get. He is a one-trick pony, you take away that trick and this is what happens.
