Make no mistake, after tonight's performance, Bonner will start. Gooden dunked the ball and Pop does not play that...

1.despite criticism, despite all, pop starts bonner.

2.spurs come out agressive, end 1st up 7-10.

3.pop puts mason as PG. offnese dies. mavs come out in 2nd and cut lead to nothing by the half.

4.bonner starts 3rd, gooden,thomas,bowen do not. mavs go on run and take the lead after spurs go 3-4 minutes without a FG.

5. in response to the mav's run, pop changes nothing. despite barea scoring run, Hill remains on the bench.

6. 3 minutes left in 3rd, bowen, gooden, thomas come in. spurs fight back and tie it up, capped off with gooden dunk. gooden comes out and is sat.

7. 4th quarter pop again starts bonner. no bowen, thomas. dirk, mavs go on run and go up 6.

8. 7 min left in game, spurs down. finally parker is put in. still no hill. no bowen. barea contiunes to score.

9. spurs lose by 8-10.

10. bonner = 33 min, 3pts,3rb,5 fouls. meanwhile bowen+thomas+gooden = 25 min.
geaorge hill = 0 min. barea = 20pts, 15 in 2nd half.

I really don't want to see him start but I wouldn't have a problem with it if Pop would pull him when he's sucking ass like he was tonight.

I can't believe Gooden couldn't get more minutes. , I would have liked to see Oberto out there. Those guys will at least grab rebounds.

I don't know how Pop could play Bonner the way he does. It kills me when Phil keeps Fartmar on the floor after he does nothing productive. So I can imagine how spurs fans feel when they have to sit there and watch Bonner play.

haha that is quite funny, how hairston, williams, POPS, were considered d-league and 'unworthy' of any minutes on the spurs, Hill considered 'undeserving' of any minutes at all, Bowen and thomas considered worthy of -10 minutes a piece...

meanwhile the Great Bonner plays completely worthless and will continue to get 30+ minutes a game inthe playoffs, no matter what.

I just can't figure out why Pop is giving him considerable minutes. If the guy can't score or won't even attempt to score, can't defend his man or can't rebound then why the is he inside. The guy is just running up and down the court doing nothing but giving stupid fouls. Gooden deserves more minutes, if his defense is lacking at times at least he is a legit scoring threat and can grab those rebounds. WAKE UP POP.
