A tough first half game 5 Lakers win going away by >12 to put Jazz out of misery another monster game from DWILL (my guess he goes for 30 3 out of 5 games this series with 10+ assists)
The only way the series will be close is if D-will has a monster series.

I hate the Jazz but we just can't beat the lakers if we make it there.

the jazz played great when he wasn't playing, they had a 12 games winning streak before he returned

This series has no point, we already know Jazz arent going to win because they only beat 1 team over .500 last season.
I'm as down on Utah and this series as anybody, but uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, fail. Check your history.
If by that, you meant Utah only beat one team over .500 on the road this season, okay then.
Here's my prediction on this game.
1st quarter: Jazz come out strong out the gate. Lakers seem out of sync and play eractic. Therefore they turn the ball over 4-7 times on the quarter. PAU gasol has 8 , Bynum 4 points but has more rebounds. Kobe has 2points and gets into foul trouble so has to sit down with 3 min. To go. D will is tearing the Lakers D apart. Jazz has the lead at the end of 1. Hmm, the score is 27-18
2nd quarter: Phil is upet but works his magic. Lakers settle down and tighten on D. Shannon Brown shows us his athletisism and dunks over AK 47 or Boozer. We dont get to see Fartmar screw it up. Phil doesn't bring him in, well that's what I'm hoping for. LO is working the glass and hes the xfactor in that quarter. He has like 12 points and 5 rebounds, all of them are offensive rebounds. Gasol still getting his points and so is Bynum. Lakers tied the game and evetually take the lead at halftime.Kobe still sitting with 2 points. 53-47 is the score.
3rd quarter: Kobe is still waiting for the right time to attack. And he finds it in the. 3rd. Eventually he starts scoring. Lakers continue rolling. The Jazz after a perfect start can't seem to get a shot so they start flopping to get to the Ft. But the refs dont buy their flops. 79- 68 lakers lead.
4th quarter: Same thing like the last 2 quarters . Lakers keep attacking . The game is basically over. I start hearing the chants of "We Want Tacos!!!" with like 5 min. to go. Score is 112 to 88 and everybody gets "2 Free Tacos!!!!"
No matter what transpires in the game, the outcome is going to be the same. Lakers win!!!!!!!!!
It's taking forever for the game to start.
I bet all of it on Cleveland in 4.
I just don't see how, without some kind of complete talent discrepancy in Jerry Slone's favor, a Jerry Slone coached team could ever beat a Phil Jackson coached team.
I can't wait for the weekdays, just so TNT starts covering Lakergames.
