1 no from me.
So he's at 100% of pure failure.
yes
no
will he show up in the Playoffs?
1 no from me.
So he's at 100% of pure failure.
yes...he will shut down dirk!
Bonner's going to have to go Face-Off-esque and steal Bruce's brain to do that.
F Bonner, play Gooden and Thomas alot more, let this dude sit alot. He will not hit a big shot as he has not in big games, he will not play any D either, he is just useless IMO. He can hit a shot or two in the first half, then he can sit.
He must show up. Pop will play him either way.
Sometimes he's just hesitant to shoot, I don't know why..
his CONFIDENCE AND GUTS in this playoffs to take 3s and make them, is a must.
I don't think he will be amazing, just good enough to be drain the occassionaly 3 and keep the defense honest.
Hopefully his confidence grows come playoff time.
He will show up but his offense and defense will not...
I think no he will not steo up but he will make the threes
Barack O-Bonner?? lol

I think he will contribute something than what he give us in game 1 but not what he did in the regular season. It doesn't seem that he is up to the post season mentality. One shot and no defensive rebounds in 18 minutes? That doesn't bode well for the Spurs. His primary job/asset is to spread the floor with his 3's and if he doesn't shoot then how does he spread the floor?
I stated in another thread that Bonner and Gooden have got to rebound for the Spurs to win. Neither one did anything meaningful in that category in game 1.
Not good.![]()
wish so, but no
he could help in these PO. but if you're expecting consistently more than 15-20 decent minutes from him (let's say 6-8 points and 4 rebounds and decent defense), you will be disappointed.
good luck paging him . Bonner is old school ... he still uses these phones:

Bonner will not show up. He checked out a couple of months ago. If he can't get fired up for game one on the playoffs then nothing can motivate you. He embodies the word disappointment.
every team has bonner figured out already. the prep sheet for the opposing team on how to guard Bonner is probably not that long. they can probably put it in a fortune cookie. what we're left with is a slow, stiff, uncoordinated player that has no ability on D or on O. he belongs on the bench. i don't believe it has anything to do with want. he hustled out there. but it doesn't fix that he has terrbile basketball instincts.
