first comes love then the ol' cat, indeed.
My boyfriend ( Bo) and I just got our first pet together! We've been together a little over a year, so I guess it was about time.
It is a cat. I think he is three or four years old.
He was a stray, who actually adopted me.
When I went to work this past Friday, ens (named after the author) was on my porch.
When I came home from work that afternoon, ens was still there and actually tried to come inside with me, as if he lived in my house too.
ens is the sweetest cat. He is incredibly calm and affectionate. He loves to be pet but is content just to be near you.
He appears to have been fixed and is litter trained, so my guess is someone dumped him.
Alyssa, my roommate, has a non hospitable cat.
So Friday, Alyssa and I made the ens comfortable on our porch, deciding it would be our outdoor cat.
But Saturday afternoon, our hateful neighbor passed ens on our shared sidewalk and viciously kicked him- just for kicks. No pun intended.
I was at work and so didn't catch guy doing it- luckily for the guy.
But Alyssa's fourteen year old cousin was outside and saw ens get kicked and run off.
The cousin told Alyssa texted and who told me.
I was outraged! Thank God that miserable man is moving. I don't want to live next to someone like that.
I didn't get home from work until late Saturday night. I look for ens both then and Sunday because I was concerned he had been injured, but he was nowhere in site.
Sunday afternoon, I came home from work and saw ens on the porch of our nice neighbor's duplex, which is right beside the duplex the mean man lies in.
I went over and consfiscated ens ( victory is mine!) and brought him back to my porch, where I could keep an eye on him.
Bo came over Sunday afternoon. He met ens and they bonded.
Bo decided to take him ens, since ens is not safe at my place, due to my horrible neighbor.
Late last night, Bo and I went to Walmart and got ens his bed, dish, kitty litter, toys, food etc.
We also gave ens a bath- his first and last-and got him settled.
It was so much fun to bring home "baby".
I have pictures on my cell phone to show people at the GTGs and will post some pictures on here soon.

I had a kitten for about a week. The little pissed me off. I hate cats. But congrats on the pet.
My cat caught a bird today and was playing with it.
Congrats on the new family member, Angel! Is there a reason you named the cat after a euphemism for ? There was a family by my church growing up who couldn't stand the church, and they named their cat Lucifer.
What color is the cat?
From what I've read, this is the only ens pussy going on over there.
I guess Bo had to get some " ens" one way or another.

Congrats angel_luv and Bo. It seems you two are settling into domestic life nicely.
I thought you would have named it after the famous Cider.
If your boyfriend were to buy some, I bet he would enjoy his ens Cider.

cats rule! i have two kittens at 11months and 5. My dad has a feral (outside) cat he adopted years ago, that lives under his house that is very affectionate as well and has always been.

Aww, that's so sweet Angel! I love cats, so it's nice to see there's people out there who care about these precious animals
