    seems to me that the Mavs just acknowledge they were on the edge to loose this series...

    Which does'nt surprise me at all... As it was written in one of the (few...) good threads started after game one, Spurs have a long history at losing, at home, their first playoff game...

    Guarantee the league issues a "reminder" that no hard fouls will be tolerated and that they will be watching for excessive contact (or something to that effect). There is no way they are going to ignore this, because if they do, it sets the precedent for similar intimidation (ha!) in later rounds.

    Real dumb move not just by Dampier, but by the coaches as well. They should have gone into that locker room knowing their team was pissed and reminded them to behave with the media. Payback on the court, not in the post-game press conferences.

    i wish we still had kevin willis to knock people around. i miss the goon wars of the 90's playoffs. hard fouls were like currency and we were just paying a debt. i hope we sign horry on a 1 day(impossible i know) just so he can knock dirks pussy ass around. well thats not really necessary, hes playing like . horry on barrea mayhaps
