All-time head-to-head records vs the other 7 West playoff teams:
Lakers: 28-93
Spurs: 58-82
Blazers: 54-67
Rockets: 64-76
Jazz: 53-84
(New Orleans) Hornets: 19-5 (11-5 vs. Chris Paul and 0-1 in playoff series)
Denver Nuggets: 72-65 (winning record, but they swept you this year)
of the Eastern playoff teams, you have winning records against:
Bulls: 29-28 (barely)
Miami Heat 25-20 (but I think we all know which team has the bragging rights)
Now kindly STFU w/ your -talking![]()
yes the mavs suck and the spurs suck ,too
there has been no team in sports history that has been forced to suck the s of their opponent, more than the Lakers have had to get on their knees and suck the Celtics s.
they had to get lower than that. Leprechauns are short.
if that's the case then Dallas is hummin' the circle
blake actually said something remotely funny. props.

Rick Carlisle has a tradition of making loosing teams a whole lot better...
And my god, what that man did with the post Artest carnage... dragged that team into the playoffs by the skin of his teeth with a D-League roster...
He is so much fun to watch.
I've been very impressed with Carlisle this series. Pop may be erratic, but he's still a Hall of Fame coach. Carlisle has seemingly been one step ahead throughout.
Pop has always confounded me. One second, he will look brilliant, the next, he looks like Jerry Slone part deux... I have a hard time classifying him because of it. Carlise has done magical jobs in Detroit and Indiana. He is one of only 2 guys who see a problem and correct it before it becomes fatal. He isn't without flaws, he can hold a grudge, and he is as bad as just about anyone at developing young talent, but he is better than 95% of coaches out there...
Probably would have won the le in 05 too, if it wasn't for the brawl...
Carlisle is a good coach. Better than a lot of people give him credit for.
But yeah, if there has been one thing this season that has really irritated me about him, is that he doesn't seem to develop younger guys well. But he's still light years ahead of Avery in that department. Carlisle is also quite good at making adjustments, something Avery didn't do well at times either.
One thing about Avery though, is that he seemed to know how to prepare his team well mentally for games... until he got too obnoxious and was being tuned out. He will learn though, and will be a very good coach one day.
I like Avery a LOT. His problem seemed to stem from that poor 1st round decision. He lost his players at that point.
But Avery was very good at player rotation. And boy did he get that team to play D... for the 1st time in the Mark Cuban era... Credit where credit is due...
How are they 19-5 against the Hornets? What's their real record?
