And again, only one Spurs fan here thinks Dirk is soft. I'm not sure how many members are on this forum, but I would think that there would be a lot of Mavs haters that would love to agree with you, but after looking at the posts here ... maybe its just you and those analysist ... Check the other posts on this topic if you like.
Of course there is the Sun's fan making excuses ... I sort of ignore'um after awhile and Laker fans that have not faced Dirk in the Playoffs for some time.

What has Kobe done in the playoffs as a #1 guy that Dirk hasn't? Dirk had a better Finals than Kobe did. Would anybody call Kobe soft for taking a team to the Finals? By your criteria (going to the Finals but failing to win it = soft choke artist), Kobe is even softer than Dirk. Dirk's never up and completely quit on his team in a Game 7. Dirk has also never let his team cough up a 25 point lead at home in the Finals either. And you want to talk about somebody else being a soft choker?

Prime Shaq + Dirk = 3 les. Can anybody show me what Kobe has done as a franchise guy that Dirk hasn't? They each have a Finals appearance, one was part of a team that let a 2-0 lead slip away, the other REFUSED to compete in a G7 against Phoenix and was part of a club that coughed up a 25 point lead at home.

Kobe - Great regular season scorer. Great scorer. Even put up 81 in a game once. But a soft choke artist in the money season...and that's if he even decides to try.
