McFailure just gave the Lake Show the kiss of death.
No wonder the Rockets play better without him.
I know a thing or two about a fall from grace.
Yes...that something both Texas teams may have in common.![]()
When I first read his comments, I was like "meh", he's only repeating the popular opinion by many of the talking heads and media people.....but it is kind of tacky to say that when your team is still in the hunt and will have to face these same lakers if they prevail. He could've said it a different way-acknowledge that the Lakers are the favorites yet show support towards your team. After all, anything can happen (highly unlikely but one can never say never).![]()
He couldn't even be loyal to his team when they were coming off a huge playoff win and playing great ball. Imagine if Manu did that.
And he's being paid 23 million to massage his knees.
sons, this mcgrady hopes his team doesnt get out of the first round cuz he will feel even more less if they do, sons!
not a huge deal. He just said what pretty much everybody else has been saying...
hahaha good work![]()
This shouldn't come as a surprise. He has never shown loyalty to any team or teammates. Luckily, this is the last year it will be a concern for the Rockets.
Trade him to a team looking for an expiring contract, and get an athletic wing in return if they can find one
i don't get him ... first he says the cavs aren't that good, then he says they're a good team.
not only does he contradict himself, he also underrates the Cavs by just calling them good . no team that has done what they've done this year and are expected to do in the playoffs is just good . they are a great team . where's the due respect from him ?
this bothers me . i remember reading an article where they asked Bruce who his toughest player to guard was, and he didn't answer . why ? because there's a possibility it can give who over it is he's guarding a mental edge . tmac has had his toughness and competiveness questioned before ... i think these comments support those claims .
as for the part where he says LA is the best team ... i don't neccessarily agree with him saying that . it can give them a mental edge . although it can be a double-edged sword - he could just be trying to goad his players, and they may very well respond in a good way . however, the tactic can backfire.
by the way ... Pop said the Lakers were the best team while he was being interviewed at halftime in the Cavs game (the last one) ... he didn't come out and say specifically that they were going to win the ring , but he implied it . if your going to criticize Tmac for his comments, maybe Pop warrants some too for saying what he said .

TMac wouldn't know a Championship if it bit him in the ass.
What's his prediction for whether or not he'll ever actually play a 2nd round game?
