I don't think Kobe is a choker so don't use that against me since IMO LA is winning it all this year. All I am saying is if Dirk is considered a choker, then by that same criteria Kobe is. Kobe can't be blamed for Kwame Brown clogging the paint doing nothing, and Dirk can't be blamed for Erica doing that.

I'm not saying you did man, but you can't honestly compare the smush-parker-kwame brown teams with a Dallas team of Dirk (back when he had heart), Terry, Howard (when he wasn't baked 24/7), Stackhouse (when he was still good), and Devin Harris among others. Dallas had 4 players who could go for 25 in any given night...the Lakers had Kobe. Apples and oranges. Dallas was stacked with talent and they blew their window of opportunity. Sure, LA choked against the Suns in 2006, but let's hypothetically say Tim Thomas doesn't sink that 3 and the Lakers win...did you honestly see LA threatening for a le that year? no, it was DAL or SAS's to lose.

No, i didn't see LA threatening for a le. I can't argue with you there, I said earlier in the thread I personally think Kobe is better than Dirk, just not by the ridiculously wide margin Lakeshow claims exists.

The only reason I'm attacking Kobe is because they both have similar resumes as the best player on their team and not very many people think Kobe is a choker so that supports the point Dirk is not a choker.

This is basically how I feel. If it is a Cavs Lakers finals I want Kobe to bring Lebron back down to earth. At the same time, it's unfair to call Dirk a choker every time Dallas loses a playoff game.

It's just par for the course. Dirk has a checkered history when it comes to "clutch," he's made some huge shots in the playoffs and then there are other times like GS and Houston where he's had a bad series. But he's not soft. Never has been.
