Boldin is the ing man....this will hurt Arizona, I dont care how good Breaston is.
The "leader" according to Clayton are the Ravens. That would be a good fit.

AZ's offense worked because they had three guys that could go deep - Fitz, Boldin, Breaston. I guess they will hope that Doucet will realize his potential next year. Urban can get the job done but he's not gonna be a 1,000 yard receiver like Fitzgerald and the two B's.

the Cardinals want a first and third (we dont have a first anyway). since we dont have a first they said theyd take Felix but there's no way id give up an explosive player like that.
plus Boldins gonna want a huge deal and i dont think we could afford it since we need to resign Ware

From a strategic standpoint, I'm not sure why the Cardinals would say they haven't received any offers for Anquan Boldin -- unless the truth matters to them.
The acknowledgement from general manager Rod Graves and coach Ken Whisenhunt -- made during a pre-draft news conference at Cardinals headquarters -- doesn't necessarily mean Boldin will remain with Arizona. But it might suggest Boldin will not command first- and third-round draft choices.
Graves: "No offers have been made up to this point. I don't know that that is any indication of the way the rest of the league sees Anquan. I just think that there is time between now and draft day. Many teams have been finishing up their draft boards and that sort of thing and the only thing that we indicated was that were listen. We haven't specified what we are looking for or anything along those lines. Teams have called to inquire, we say that we are willing to listen, but to this point we have had no real, hard offers."The Cardinals would essentially be trading two years of Boldin. That is probably the best way to look at the situation. Boldin has two years left on his deal. He probably would not re-sign with Arizona once the deal ended. The Cardinals probably would not name him their franchise player. The question then becomes this: At what point does the value Boldin could command in a trade exceed the value of the contributions he will make to the Cardinals?
Whisenhunt: "I think we are just evaluating our options. Like we said, this was about knowing that there was going to be a lot of talk about that specifically. Like we said last week, Anquan is an important part of our team and ultimately our goal is to make sure he is with us. As part of this process, evaluating what other people think or what other people want to say about him, that is something we are listening to. So as the week progresses and we get closer to the draft, that seems to be where a lot of thing may pick up."
.. no...I wouldn't give up Felix either. Don't they have the uncapped year coming up soon though? And with 11 picks in the draft, you don't think they'd take a few later picks?
I think Oz is trying to get the Cards to lower their asking price. I'm not sure we are willing to give away a 1st and a 3rd for him. I also heard something that they were asking for possibly McGahee and a 3rd. I definately wouldn't want to part with McGahee for him. Not with a 1 year unproven Ray Rice as the primary HB. I would do the 1st and the 3rd though. My thinking is we only have 6 picks in this years draft to begin with and Oz isn't comfortable being left with only 4 picks the entire draft. There is def some wheeling and dealing going on. I was totally expecting to log onto ESPN today and see him signing with us.

The Ravens are unlikely to trade for wide receiver Anquan Boldin, a team source said Monday. The sticking point is that the Ravens consider the Arizona Cardinals' asking price too steep, according to the source. The Cardinals are looking for first- and third-round picks in exchange for Boldin. The Ravens, who have six picks in this weekend's NFL draft (their fewest since 2000), would consider the trade if it did not involve multiple draft selections. They would become interested if they had to give up only a first- or a second-round pick and a player, the source said. The problem is, the Dallas Cowboys set a high bar for receivers when they traded picks in the first, third and fifth rounds for Roy Williams last season.
