wow i would not have given that big of an extension, maybe 2 years max.
Are the Panthers front office run by idiots?
wow i would not have given that big of an extension, maybe 2 years max.
wow this is so dumb. They should have been looking to find a long term replacement for this idiot. Do they not remember the Arizona game?
What makes this even worse is that his last game was one of the worst performances I've ever seen.
Seems questionable, but I'll reserve judgment until I know how much of it is guaranteed money.
They guy threw 5 interception, maybe more in his last game he played. Way to reward him. BUT the NFL can cut him anytime and not pay him so whio gives a . If he sucks he will be gone.
At least he has won a playoff game. This signing isn't any stupider than Romo's 6 year 67 million dollar deal.
^^^^ha ha very funny don't just blame romo blame the whole cowboys organization starting with jerry(bleeping) Jones
Starting with Jerry Jones for giving a 6 year 67 million dollar deal to a QB that has never won a playoff game.
Romo is just a little bit more overrated than Barber.
Isn't this guy a year removed from Tommy-John Surgery or some type of surgical procedure to the arm? Couple that with his erratic play at QB and questionable decision-making on the field (highlighted by that horrid showing against the Cards last postseason) make this signing that much more peculiar.
Sounds like something the Raiders would do. Although the Raiders usually don't pay people who can still play. And that would be an insult if the Raiders offered him that. Double the salary and thats about what the Raiders would offer him.

You are not to bright are you...
Why? Because I think it's dumb to pay a guy that chokes in big games and has never won anything 67 million?
Oh wait, he's a Cowboy so that means he has future Hall of Famer written all over him.
What does Romo's contract have to do with Jake Delhomme?
No one was comparing the two so why even bring it up?
you can hear a pin drop in Carolina right now.
lol delhomme, i kinda feel bad for him, he might be in a stage where kurt warner was at in his career with the rams.
Pretty horrible deal, and I know Jake. He grew up in Breaux Bridge(6 miles from my hometown of lafayette), and went Teurlings in Lafayette. I'm a big Jake supporter, but this deal is downright dumb!
Lafayette has some pretty good NFL players: Jake, Brandon Stokley, and my man Javon Walker(went to the same HS as me and was best friends w/ my best friends older brother. Dude is a sick athlete. Won a world series w/ the 97(I believe) Florida Marlins, went to FSU, was drafted in the 1st round and made a Pro Bowl. He got mugged last year in Vegas and has had some other problems(injury, etc), but should have a good year as J. Russel's #1 target.
You live in Lafayette? My aunt and her family lives there. Pretty cool place.
He's not Russel's #1 target. He's not even playing tomorrow. Schillenz is the #1 but he's hurt. Raiders only have DHB, Murphy, JLH, and Todd Watkins for tomorrow.
Yeah, it's clean and a good place to raise a family. But there really isn't anything to do there except going to bars or restuarants. I usually go to Nola or baton Rouge during the weekends, but next weekend I'm going visit my uncle in Flower Mound. Should be a good time!![]()
You're right about him not playing tomorrow, I didn't know that. As a fan and somewhat a friend of his, I'm gunna be optimistic and say he will be russel's #1 target by the end of the year.![]()
