Why, in the name of all that's Holy, would the Spurs tank a playoff game when the series is tied 1-1 and knowing that the Mavs would be all but finished if they lost tonight?

He would be the perfect replacement for Horry. He still has two or three more good years in him, but only playing for a contender, And I can't think of a better fit for him than the Spurs.

It's only a jab at the "CIA Pop" or "Referees hate us" fans. The Suns fans who think the world is out to collude against the Suns and that whomever the Suns coach happens to be loses regular season games intentionally because it somehow makes them a better playoff team bugs me just as much if not more because I don't want the team I cheer for to have the excuse, "We're losing now so we can win later."
Let's face it. This Spurs team will be lucky to get out of the first round. We don't have the chemistry nor the swagger to play championship basketball. The guys just look content and they have a look on their faces that say " what the ? We've got four rings anyways". Are they going away from the game this early? Sad to say but for the second straight year, we are a healthy Manu away from winning a championship. Still
I couldn't have said tihs better myself. I hate the Mavs, but I thought Mavs would win tonight actually. Next game I'll say I think the Mavs will win. I think it will be back and forth till game 7 then whatever team fights harder that game will win. Although I do think whatever team makes it out of the second round will get killed in the 2nd round. Both teams aren't what they were in the past, Spurs are old and Dallas is getting up there as well.

im not really gonna talk a lot of if we win, because last nights game showed that pretty much all we had to do was show up. ive seen the Spurs get manhandled like that before but i dont think ive seen a worse effort from them in the playoffs. that was pretty lousy
