There isn't another but, I will gladly watch the Cavs whip the Fakers. I'll pull for Mike Brown and Danny Ferry if it isn't in the cards for us.
^ This man has a point!

Since our boys in blue our undoubtedly winning our 2nd ring this year, you all should jump on the bandwagon sooner rather than later![]()
Rockets. I live in H-Town, and hate the Mavs/Lakers way more than I do them. Blazers...I could really care less...even though they do have Lamarcus (hook em).
If anyone other than H-Town makes the finals in the West, then I'm rooting for the East
It's heartwarming that Mav fan seems to think beating San Antonio = championship. Mostly pathetic, and a little comical, but heartwarming nonetheless.
South Texas Showboats
Are they still around?
If the Spurs can't stick around for the big prize, I don't care who wins. I almost don't care if the Lakers win, even with Kobe's smugness. Maybe the Cavs since they have the Spurs Connection.
Or I'll just start thinking about football.
If the Spurs are ousted earlier than usual, I go into offseason mode. all the other teams and players.
Nope Spurs forever unless Baltimore ever decides to man up and get a franchise. Even then I will still root for the Spurs like I do in football with the G-Men. We would be in the Eastern conference anyway, so it would be easy. lol
If we get knocked out this year though I will probably pull for the 76ers to make some noise.
Anybody except Fakers and Mavs. As with any year, if the Spurs don't win it, my personal, semi-celebration begins when one or the other (preferably both) are eliminated.
If Spurs lose I want the Lakers-Mavs to get eliminated.
Then it's up to Lebron to eliminate whoever the Western contender is...I can root for the Cavs because they play defense. Which has been missing this year when watching the Spurs.
That said, the Spurs better make it out of the first round. The Lakers are not guaranteed to go to the Finals no matter how good they are...Spurs shouldn't give away opportunities just because they think "what's the point in making it past the first round" It would be lame for the Lakers to not advance to the WCF, and the Spurs players to realize they phoned it in in the 1st round.
The gutless Mavs aren't going anywhere once we get past the Spurs, don't you worry. Last night was more about the Spurs sucking this year than the Mavs being good.
I root for no one other than the Spurs..period.
The Magic are my other team.
As TPark, you didn't understand me I see.![]()
Agreed...
silver stars I'm a homer
one good thing that might come out of this:
The bandwagon fans will jump off and make more room for me.
Til the very end!
After the Spurs...
Don't have any other teams...
Just the Spurs...
All Spurs...
All the time.
If they go fishing--I go fishing and wait for the NBA draft--the playoffs have no meaning to me if the Spurs are not playing anymore.
BTW--doubters need to get the off of these boards--quit your damn whining and other forms of bad karma.
Stick with your damn team instead of blaming everybody.
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
