Scola and Battier got it done. It is disconcerting to see Yao being taken out of the game on offense, but his presence was felt on defense. Also, Scola is not scoring 17 in a half without everybody in Portland sticking to Yao. Hard fought game.

Rockets play some good D but just dont have enough firepower to hang with the Lakers. Not enough length either since Deke is done but atleast they're getting it done in round 1
