Mason & Finley needs to score as well!
I still fear that Pop has killed us.
He's effectively neutralized two productive players, Mason and Hill.

At the half, Tim+Tony shots = 17/25 68%
everybody else shots: 2/9 22%
somebody else has to step up with scoring.
Tony got that loose, unhurried, detached aspect, aka zone, when he has games like this.
When Mason comes off the bench he's HORRIBLE
TP's teammates better get a grip and help. I am so disappointed in Mason and Bonner. Mason just has not had a break out game. And, hasn't helped much on offense. And, well, Bonner doing what Bonner does.

Finely should come off the bench or not at all. When he's shooting the ball well, you can kind of tolerate his piss poor defense. But he's pulling a Bonner right now.
In fairness to Mason, he's rarely had the ball in the first half.
I do hope the roleplayers step up cuz Tony isn't gonna get 31 in the next half.
Dallas playing much more evenly than SA right now, hopefully the defense for the Spurs picks up in the second half.
They where talking about his 38 point in a half game and he said "that's because you pissed me off so much", i'm not from America so don't know what the t.v rules are over there but you do that over here in Britain you're looking at a suspension.
The frustrating this is that when it's all said and done, Pop will get a pass on his monumental f'up at the backup PG situation because of Manu's absence.

To start the second half I think we need to run a few plays to get the role players going. Maybe Finley and/or Bonner a set play to get them a look. Mason also could use a couple of these to get him some open looks from distance when comes in the game.
mason SHOULD NOT handle the ball AT ALL, he should only do spot up or pull up jumpers. every time he tries to handle the ball disaster ensues.
If Tony and Tim get no scoring help, then everybody has bust some balls on defense and hold the Mavs to their current FG 38%.
Why is Bonner coming in starting the 3rd! Pop, what does it take to get it through your thick head this is how we lose leads everytime! !

i kinda like what i see from Tim in offense. He's not the dominant Tim but he probably won't be. but he's doing well outside his FT.
The problem is rebounding and defense. I want Bowen.
and i'm asking myself about Oberto. He won't be a game changer. but the guy knows how to compete and how to win. He's tough and poised. KT and Gooden aren't doing .
and when i see our offense relying so much on Tony and Tim with others role players not doing , i guess some defense with Hill wouldn't hurt. He couldn't make worse than his teamates on offense.
