Hate to call him out but it was on Duncan. He single-handedly gave up about eight or nine offensive boards.
spurs must address rebounding problem

yep. 11 out of 18 FT isn`t bad. But 6 rebs. Come on Tim you can do better
Plus, his free throw shooting was predictably awful. He is no longer a clutch player. This doesn't mean he is a bad person or a bad player or that he is not maybe the best power forward in the history of the game. It just accepts the reality that his strengths of years past are not as strong now, but his weaknesses are still as glaring as ever, and Pop can't adjust.
The lack of rebounds and missed ft's were a killer.
My problem with Duncan was getting schooled by Hollins. WTF was that.
Definitely agree. Missed free throws by Parker late was huge. Duncan let Dampier get all those tips. But I wouldn't place all the blame on Duncan. We just have no one to complement Duncan. Bonner and Kurt just can't get it done on the boards. I would have liked to see Oberto, believe it or not. He actually wants those rebounds and he'll box out to get 'em.
Actually, 11 out of 18 IS bad when you are the one with the ball so much, and your free throw shooting woes are well known in the league. The 7 missed free throws could have made the difference down the stretch. (the final score reflects last minute desperation that could have been different had we stayed closer during the balance of the game.) Tim is a fine person and has been a great player, but he is not helping enough in this series. Noone else except Tony is either, but Tim makes about 7 million bucks a year more than anyone else on the team, so it is fair to expect more from him...at least it is reasonable to expect him to make free throws.
duncan has to rebound with these other bigs
Just for the record, Duncan had 10 boards.
yahoo had 6 just updated it
he is the real center
Stupid coach cost the Spurs.
timmay needs to address his horrendous free throw shooting. he is my fav player in the nba, but that pigeon toed free throw stance is horrible.
