Want to give the Mavs some respect now? You SPurs people have been trashing us all series and now we are up 3-1. Maybe you can dig deep into the spurs fanbase and finde at least one of your fans who will fess up and ackowledge the Mavs are the better team. Something tells me your fans will whine and come up with alot of excuses.

P.S. No one cares that you did not have Manu. We missed Dirk in the WCFs in 03 and the spurs did not really care.

Hey, it is tough to lose the King Flopper in the NBA. The guy is worth 10 -15free throws a game at least just off his flops. Maybe if manu played straight and didn't cheat I could have some sympathy but Manu is the biggest flopper/cheater in the NBA. I am glad he got hurt.

I know deep down inside ST posters know a real Maverick fan doesn't act like some mountain dew drinking sop re in high school.

Honestly I give the mavs credit they just matchup well with the spurs. Also about the mav fans saying the spurs only won '03 because Dirk got injured I have a few words for that which is who gives a . Injuries happen its part of the game. At the end of the day nobody is going to remember 20 years from now looking in the history books that back in '03 the spurs beat the Mavs in a series where Dirk got hurt. All they are going to see in bold print spurs '03 Champs. If that makes you feel good go ahead and play that card its equally as stupid as how the lakers fans about '99 and '03.

Why in would we give the Dallas Mavettes any respect. You people are as obnoxious as the Phoney Sunettes fans. Pump yourself up for beating an old, slow, rundown team that has 2 legitimate starters and 2 or 3 legitimate backup players and 7-8 players who are not good enough to even play in the D-League. Feel good about yourselves now because you haven't done a damn thing and if and when you play the Lakers they will sweep little Markie Cuban's team of girlieboyz like there is no tomorrow. Either one of us weren't going any further than this round anyway. Well maybe we would at least get past Denver but, there is nobody in the West this year who stands any kind of chance against the Lakers. Heck the Lakers may even win two games against Cleveland before the Cavs win the NBA Championship.
