Stay classy, Dallas.
thoughts:
1) i will never forgot how tony parker left it on the floor tonight, ever
2) gritty, gutty performance but scoring droughts, offensive rebounds, and poor execution down the stretch cost us
3) special thanks to mavs fans for verbally berating and threatening me unsolicitated in front of my teenage nephew...special props to the cougar with implants sitting 2 seats down from me literral screaming within 6" of my face to f**k off.
4) while we may be done this season, the core group should remain in tact...healthy this year we beat dallas and denver and LA has not looked impressive...re-load next year
Yeah I have noticed the Mavs are EXTREMELY un-classy.
Admire your courage. Sorry to hear you were seated near some D-bags.
i wouldnt give a i would talk back and look all hard
foreal thats what i did in houston
Remember that part in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade when they are retrieving the father's book from the Nazi's? They are in Berlin surrounded by Nazi's who are burning Bibles and the Indy's dad says "We are pilgrims in an unholy land." Thats how I'd feel if I went to Dallas to watch a Basketball game. I'd still go, but that would be a perfect line for it.
Damn that sucks. When I saw the Spurs in Oakland (game that went to OT) they fans were fun. Little talk here and there but it was all in good fun and they were good sports. Mavs fan well what do you expect most of them are also Cowboys fans.
you are a .![]()
This happens at every game in every NBA arena. Don't pretend it doesn't.
Sorry about your bad experience with Mavs fans. It's my experience that there are obnoxious fans in every arena.
Mav Fan called my hispanic friend and asked him to mow their lawn for twenty five cents last time I went to a Spurs game in Dallas. Spurs won the game and we talked our fair share of on the way out.
But yeah if you don't want F bombs and other innovative obscenities dropped on you at the AAC I would suggest not wearing Spurs stuff to the game.
Did he?
I was impressed by Mav Fan's improved knowledge of basketball. Last time I was in Dallas in 2001, the crowd had no idea what was going on. Eight years of relevancy later and they actually understand what is happening.
This happened without them having to put "APPLAUSE" or "BOO THE REFS" on the jumbotron?
And beating the Spurs is only relevancy if you're Mav Fan. It's salvation if your Sun Fan, and business as usual if you're Laker Fan.
Is your goal to be classy or not?
This has to be the most ironic post I've ever seen. A comment like this with a picture like that in your signature = pure comic gold
you stay classy san antonio
When they're not texting on their Blackberry's, talking on cell phones during live action or watching the fashion show that commences in the lower bowl.
The Mavs will always be irrelevant until they win the big one. Which the way it's looking now, still requires some off season tweaking to their roster. Poor Dirk, the only decent guy of the bunch (when he's not flopping, but every player flops even SA's), and he won't win a ring with his surrounding cast. They were barely able to hold off the aging Spurs, 1 1/2 superstars and the tiest role players ever. Spurs looked like except for Parker and TD, and the Spurs still had the game within 3 with 2-3 minutes left to play.
Good luck in the future Dirk. The Mav fans I've been around at the AT & T Center were OK. But, I could imagine the ys at AAC.
Props to you for putting up with their taunts.
+1
heads abound. It's the only chance they get to feel important.
Wait. Didn't Kori have to put out a public announcement to tell people to stop calling JJ Barea a dirty ?
