Come on now. Safety & O-line depth are 2 primary concerns acorrding to both Stephen & Jerry.

2 of the highest rated safetys in M Moore from Mizzou & Rashad Johnson from Bama (Still on the board), along with P. Loadholt from OU were all right there for the taking with the 51st pick. Loadholt would be a solid replacement for either Adams on the Left or Colombo on the right. 6"9 and 360LBs, plus he's played guard before so he has some versatility.

Instead, lets get 2 more picks for a total of 12.

What happend to this team being a Tony Romo injury away or getting rid of cancerous T.O. from being a unified team and making a run to the super bowl.

Why the need for all the picks. Plus, do we really think 12 picks will make the roster and sign!!!!!!!!!

2 early picks on Suday, let's see if they take Johnson from Bama.

James Thompson OLB from Wstrn Illinos w/69th pick.
Robert Brewster OT from Ball State w/75th pick.

Thompson's best grade was a 6th or 7th round pick.
Brewster was the same. Neither are rated as top 20 prospects at their position.

At least Parcells knew how to draft (Ratliff, Barber, Ware, etc...)
ING JERRY JONES. Can't he die in some plastic surgery mishap or something!!!

I'm done watching. The Cowboys can have their last 10 picks!

Rated by who? ESPN? Every team rates their players differently based on their scouting teams. There is absolutely no way to judge a draft until about 3 to 4 years after the draft. I've never heard of these two guys before, but I'm not stupid enough to think that means anything. I'd never heard of Marion Barber or Orlando Scandrick either, but those turned out to be value finds.

You don't know jack about any of these players, just what ESPN tells you so calm down and wait until they get a chance to suit up and play before you start ing.

    Go Texans.

They traded the 2nd round pick (thier first pick) for more draft picks.

Are you kidding, both Scandrick and Barber were all conference performers for their teams the Gophers & Boise State.

Barber & Maroney tore it up at Minnesota. Scandrick was a lock down corner in the WAC.

Next thing you're going to say drafting McGee was smart too. For what, it's not like Stanback can't run the wildcat.

Go back to sucking Jerry Jones .
Keep thinking that the Cowboys are heading in the right direction and make all the jokes you want....

I didn't say it's a great draft, I'm just smart enough not to until I see how the picks play on the field. You're wasting your energy ing when you don't know anything about these players.

I will say picking McGee is a head scratcher simply because he fills no need. Romo and Kitna are 1 &2 so unless they're keeping 3 QBs on the roster seems like a wasted pick.

    That's your opinion.
An opinion isn't right or wrong. It can be idiotic, like saying that Barber & Scandrick were nobody's in college.

    Agreed.
The Dallas Cowboys site says he has a "Strong Arm!" I guess that was before he tore his labrum & struggled to throw the deep ball all this past year watching A&M.

8 more picks to go in this draft. Hopefully Jerry will draft some much needed help at the OLB position with these last 8 picks. We don't have enough of those.

I never said they were "nobody's", just that I had never heard of them before the Cowboys drafted them. Point is just because you aren't aware of a guy that doesn't make it a bad pick. According to one league official being interviewed on 105.3 The Fan the Cowboys got good value at these picks. Nobody knows until they hit the field and get a chance to play.

What's keeping the Cowboys from a deep playoff run or a Super Bowl is not going to be fixed by the draft.

According to a lot of folks, they took care of that when they let Owens go.

Well of course! Terrell Owens was the only problem Dallas had. All the other problems stemmed from him!

Now that T.O. is gone, its gonna be 19-0!

Yeah Bum is still the coach, Jerry is still the GM.

Change those two factors then it could be time to be confident in the Cowboys again.

No, if Bum were the coach, they would be doing better. Bum didn't take any off of players, his son did not inherit that quality.

I think its ing stupid to say this was a poor draft. I've read plenty of non-ESPN sites that say the Cowboys got decent value. Lets see what these guys do and then grade them in a year or 2.

I will say the McGee pick was stupid however, lol.
