That feeling generally goes away when I read anything by Aggie HoopsFan, Yonivore, or Wild Cobra.
Then I simply thank God that they and people who tend to think like they do are so reality challenged that it is obvious to anybody with some common sense that they should be kept as far away from the reins of power as possible.
