George Hill >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Iverson
Iverson should really go to San Antonio and accept a 6th man role.
Have parker, ginobli, bonner/udoka, duncan, kurt thomas start
bring iverson off the bench that'd be a perfect role for him, they need scoring desperately I also belive Greg Popovich is respected enough (won championships) that Iverson would bend his HUge ego and listen.
That would probably be iverson's best chance at a le. Or Maybe same thing in Boston. If he doesn't accept a bench role, 6th man type no one will sign up pretty much.
George Hill >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Iverson
Please! Have you not been paying attention? Did you not see how he literally "caved in" two franchises - DEN and DET? Why the would you want a cancer like him on the Spurs? Besides, if he couldn't accept a 6th man role in Detroit, he'd never accept that role anywhere. It's a moot point anyway because Pop would never allow it.
Iverson is the basketball version of Terrell Owens. He's only concerned about his touches and couldn't give a damn about winning or committing toward playing championship-level basketball, which, by the way, encompasses teamwork and great chemistry.
I hope he ends up with a losing team like the Clippers or Warriors. That way, he can get all the shots he wants, drive up his scoring average and lose every night. I'm sure that would make him very happy.
Just what we need, another over the hill guy with at ude problems.

He's a great fit for them seeing where they're at now with no depth on the bench. AI will accept a bench role there because Pop will play him starter minutes much like he does Manu. The reason AI bithced in Detroit is because it's how Curry played him off the bench, like he was some scrub or has been player.
AI would get both minutes and a legit chance to win something with Tim,Tony and Manu.
Signing Bonner and Finley to 5 year $50 million contracts is a better idea
Naw, man...Iverson should go to the Bulls!! He'd be awesome!!!
Clearly you're NOT listening to Iverson's comments and you haven't followed his career. Out of his own mouth, he declared that he'd rather retire than come off the bench because it's something he's not used to.
He's never played with superstar-caliber teammates, and simply refuses the "share the rock" with anyone. He WILL NOT adjust his game or style of play for ANYBODY.
He's still a great player and a point machine, that can score with anybody. However he's a volume shooter, who restricts any offensive flow because he's too busy trying to get himself off. He's a ball-hogging, team killer, who does not know what it takes to win at a championship level.
You're dreaming if you think he could play alongside Duncan, Parker, Manu or any other superstar-level player for that matter.
If you have questions, look at the graphic again.
A guy who grabs his back and cries "ouch" Everytime things don't go his way?
No thanks.
Theres two types of benches, a bench player playing bench minutes, and a bench player playing starter minutes. Iverson in Detroit was playing bench minutes which is why he got pissed, I dont think he would mind if he played starter minutes.
I'd rather sign Finley to a 5 year extension and trade for Beno.
Tell you what. Let's check back in July and see what contender elects to pick him up in free agency. If what you say is true, surely there will be many teams clamoring for his services.
Mark my words, he'll end up with a cellar-dweller for probably less than half of the enormous salary he received last season.
While we're at it, why don't we bring in Stephon Marbury, too?![]()
Iverson is not Spur material. Too much baggage.
Still not convinced? Read post #10 and #11.
The answer to "Why not?" is right there in the first sentence. AI has never and will never accept a 6th man role, or he would have done so for the Pistons.
I wonder how many people won't understand whats wrong with that picture.
No, he's old and a sort of Terrell Owens of basketball. We need youngins!
I think he wouldnt be a bad get IF
1. He starts
2. Takes the vets min.
3 passes the ball
this post cant be serious, iverson is not a team player and isnt that good
