Uhhh, this year and these playoffs are proving that last years Hornets were an ABSOLUTE fluke.
what this shows is that you can't build a Championship-caliber team around a PG, even if he is the best in the league.

unless, of course, you have the greatest PG of all-time (Magic Johnson) who can play Center in a pinch!

After that beatdown, both the Hornets chances and confidence are shot.

Note to Hornets: Consider yourselves sucked!

It's hard for me to clown on this Hornet team after the Lakers lost by 40+ in a closeout game in last year's Finals.

happens. Spur fan should not talk smack either IMHO, 2001 playoffs. They hold the record for worst overall beatdown in a WCF series EVER.

Every franchise has their share of ty losses.

If you're going to revel in another franchise's failures be enough to recognize that your own franchise has some nasty egg on its face as well. Do you want me to post the boxscores of the 2001 WCF?

I'll give you a hint. It's NOT pretty. We're talking about a team that went #1 in the WC getting beat down worse than any other team in NBA history. That is an epic failure that completely overshadows this loss by the Hornets.

No, they didn't. I think game 3, the Lakers won by 38, and game 4, Lakers won by 39.

Yes, and the Celtics won by 39... in the NBA Finals...

Still, I don't see how this is comparable to the 55+ beat down by the Nuggets tonight...

The Lakers -slapping in the 2008 Finals overshadows the 2001 WCF for sure.

The Spurs got beat down FOR AN ENTIRE SERIES.

In last year's Finals LAL got outplayed badly in only one game. The rest were all pretty close. That's a huge difference.

The bottom line is the Spur's didn't even win a game, at least the Hornets won a game and the Lakers won 2 last year. The Spurs were also the #1 team in the league with the best record.

This is fun owning pathetic Spurs fans whose team is about to get bounced by the ing Mavs.

Our season was over when Manu got fractured.
