Well, you could argue they had a good run last season... I don't think anybody expected them to win it all, but for a lot of NBA 'experts', that was their coming out party... It's evident now it was their goodbye party...
Nobody recovers from a beatdown like that on their home floor. Nuggz will close it out in Game 5.
The Hornets had 17 field goals. That's right, 17. Some teams get that many in the first quarter, but most teams have that many at least halfway through the second.
Denver had seven players to score in double figures. OK, we know that Linas Kleiza scored his 14 in garbage minutes, but still.
As you know the Hornets loss tied for the worst ever in NBA playoff history, which was the Minneapolis Lakers' 133-75 win against the St. Louis Hawks in the first round of the 1956 playoffs. Interestingly enough, the Hawks won that series 2-1.

If you're talking sports, I would think that the Red Sox vs the Yankees in 2004 is the best comeback ever. Down 3-0, and they won game 4 and 5 in extra innings. Couple that with the Curse of the Bambino, and that I'm a homer, and I don't think it can be beat.
In basketball? Well, if you're talking about whole series, it'd probably be up there, but not the highest.
If the Hornets had only lost by a few points here and there, then I'd say they have a chance.
But the Nuggets have been winning by a landslide throughout.
And the one Nuggets loss was their own damn fault. They had a chance to have closed this thing out 4-0 if only they hadn't fumbled after stealing the ball at the end of Game 3.

Seriously, the Giants put a beatdown on Brady all day. What's messed up is, if Asante caught that int, then all the sportscasters would be talking about how Brady led that last comeback. lol
Can't really call it a choke. I don't think anyone expected the Patriots to beat the Giants. The Patriots had a great regular season, but it was nothing we haven't seen the 72 Dolphins do. The Giants were just completing some passes...just beating a fluke New England team...nothing to see here...
BTW, what happened to the Yankees in the 2004 ALCS was that their bats went cold and were no longer able to cover for their mediocre pitching. I, too, thought that series was over after the 19-8 s acking in Game 3. But, the Red Sox make a living at coming back from the brink of elimination. They did it again in 2007 and almost did it last year against the Rays...if not for David Price, the BoSox would have been in the World Series against Philly.
