-Played on two bad knees for most of the season, made no excuses

-Deferred to TP this year and allowed him to blossom into a superstar.

-Even in the face of defeat tonight, he hit like 10 straight and still went down swinging.

-Gets most rest since hes been in the league this offseason

-I will remember Dampier and Hollins thinking they got the best of a healthy timmy, shouting in his face. Timmy won't forget that and he'll remind them who the real Tim Duncan is next year.

Thanks to Timmy for his continued greatness and battling til the end this season.

Nobody will ever have more heart than 21.

TIM WENT ALL OUT with that 30 and 8 straight buckets tonight, he was not ready to go home for the summer, unfortunately most were ready to go home sides TP and Maybe Hill.

He's the reason I watch. Simply the best. A class act on and off the court.

I hope the summer treats him well and he comes into camp with the fire in his eyes. I know he's got another one in him.

The AP story didn't even mention that Tim went out shootin', like Davy Crocket, with NINE straight FGs! This is probably a playoff record for ending the NBA playoffs.

Tim also had a better than 2 to 1 assist/TO ratio.

He had a good series but was obviously injured. Anytime Ericka Dampier can have some success against Tim Duncan, you know something aint right.

Duncan seems like he's past the stage in his career where he's a great paint defender though. SA needs someone who can help him in there.

Tim is a warrior and i couldn't praise him enough for what he means to this team.

but he's past his prime and not as dominant as he used to, even if the game 5showed us some flashes of his old self.

in previous years (till 2006), Tim was dominating on the boards.
He was a monster who anchored our defense.
He was unstoppable and always doubled team on offense.

he can't do anymore any of those three things on a consistent basis. and it changes a lot of things for the spurs.

I'm pretty confident we will have a 20-10 Tim for 2-3 more years, and that still awesome. but we'll need help to compensate what we could miss from him compared to previous years.

On defense and rebounds, he'll need another big to help.

On offense, tony has taken some of the load but the fact that the double team isn't coming as often as the previous years should change some things for us, especially the "surround him with outside shooters" concept.

anyway, seeing what he could bring on bad knees, i'm still confident he will be our franchise player in the next years. He'll just need more help from TP, manu and especially the role players (SOME HELP INSIDE).

Last night was frustrating, because we got to see one of those "fire in the eyes" moments from Tim, but still came out on the bottom. Usually, that incredible strength of will is enough to carry us through, but the Spurs were just in too big of a hole, and Dallas hit some big shots to answer.

Still, I couldn't help but watch in amazement as Timmy put this team on his back in the fourth quarter and single-handedly tried to will them to victory. For a span of about 6 minutes, he had everything going...the hook, the bank, the jumper. You could tell that he did NOT want to lose that game, and for his sake...it's a damn shame that they did.

I hope Spurs fully fans appreciate being able to watch one of the best players to ever grace the floor.

Tim past his prime is still better than about three quarters of the c/pf in the league.
