Estoy mal acostumbrado.

    To THE NATION

SAN ANTONIO .- Now I'm on vacation, so it was before, but they are official. Like, I'm going to stay here because in 3 or 4 weeks I get a check, they have to see what is the fracture of the fibula, according to an X-ray yesterday, was a good progress of the callus. So while I will continue with the fitness, cycling, swimming and weights. The most boring.

Before last, which took place at the stadium was very hard, especially for me, I saw him outside, but I have to bancármela. The truth is that Dallas was well above the entire series and won clearly. We err key shots and put them psychologically critical triples. After being down 1-3 in the series, I was not surprised disposal. I knew it would be impossible to give back. They were improving in every game and we ended up fairly attributed.

As for my feelings, I was pretty angry, be removed without playing is very ugly. Would have preferred to be inside, working with my colleagues. It was very sad that you feel powerless. I was wrong, it was somewhat difficult to digest. At times I felt indebted to. Is that, after so many years in the franchise and playing together are forming a big commitment.

This was not an elimination like that Derek Fisher three times in the final seconds against the Lakers or the 7th game in Dallas, also on the end. Those were painful. This was bitter, ugly. Lost over the great rival of Texas and when he had a great atmosphere in the stadium, with great expectation. Here people always want to beat the Lakers because he is as Boca, the team strong and popular, but against Dallas is like the classic neighborhood. Fortunately, the audience behaved 10 points. There was no booing or whistling. Neither an ovation, but we applauded at the end. It was a moment.

I do not know what will happen next year. San Antonio has no good choice in the draft, but I guess there will be any change. I do not believe that altering the structure, because we had to finish this year in West 3eros and only lost 2 matches in the previous season during the regular series. What happened is that we were not healthy. Missed Tony (Parker) some parties; Tim often played injured and I needed more than ever.

I know there is talk that the Spurs should be renewed, but I do not think it changes much. As were 12 years of being up and the franchise is very cautious, but if we see growth Lakers, Boston and Cleveland, it is true that we are not so close.

I think that will continue to use the remaining three of us (Tony and Tim). I do not think there is a reconstruction as in other teams, at least until it is withdrawn Duncan. Surely there will be changes in the role-players.

I would not say that this was a bad year for me, it was very different in physical and mental. In the game, not so much because I played while I was active on my level and I had good numbers, perhaps with fewer minutes.

But it was different because I spent much time in the pool and the bike recovered. Besides, I still believe that if we were all we could to fight the le either, although I agree that the Lakers and Cleveland may be higher, but had to do in the playoffs.

Now I will put the facebook (down there have the address), to take vacation and return to Argentina to meet the commitments of the Foundation and Unicef, but mainly to get well and back here to win the championship. I'm spoiled.

Manu basically agrees that there won't be significant changes, but some changes are needed.
    For role players that is.
Also, is it true that the spurs don't have any good picks this draft??
I know we gave up a first round pick to Seattle back then, but nothing??

We missed key shots and they made some critical three pointers to change the momentum of games.

I'll give it a shot, not a problem. Does it matter that I don't speak Portugese?

SAN ANTONIO - Now I'm finally on vacation, just like the rest of my team was throughout the first round of the playoffs. My Super Manu foot will need another 3 or 4 weeks to heal, and they'll re-evaluate it then. In the meantime I'm stuck cycling, swimming, lifting weights and chillin' with the hotties on the beach. Borrring!

As for the series, to be SuperMan-u, and have to watch this series from the sidelines was very tough. The truth is that Dallas was the better team throughout the entire series and deserved to win. We miss our shots and they hit theirs...scoreboard fellas, usually the team that scores more wins. After being down 1-3 in the series, everyone not named Tim or Tony mailed it in. Can you blame them? We were doomed from the start...you have seen our roster haven't you? Dallas improved every game and we countered with Michael Finley and Matt Bonner...good god. And thanks for stepping up in my absence, Money...thanks.

As for my feelings, frankly I'm pissed! Put me out there with my homies and I can make any team look good. The only way to stop me is to not play me. I know this, the league knows this. Everyone who's ever fondled a basketball late at night knows this.

This was not a loss like those in the past to the Lakers. We lost to the Mavs!!! The Mavs!!! The fvckin' Mavs!!! Pathetic. Here people always want to beat the Lakers because they're always pumped up in the media and Kobe is Kobe, but beating Dallas should be like beating up that re ed kid who lives down the street. It should be easy and fun. Fortunately for us, the audience didn't go postal and start rioting like a bunch of stupid soccer fans at the end of that debacle. Soccer fans are re ed, just like little Mikey who lives four doors down.

I do not know what will happen next year. Of course we traded away our first round pick, don't we always?! So there's no help coming in the draft. I do not believe that altering the structure of the team will happen because the FO won't spend any money. We weren't healthy, and so we'll probably stick with that excuse for our early playoff exit. Why not...it worked last year! My guess, knowing our front office, is that we can all prepare for more Finlinator in '09-'10 people, you know it's coming!! But you know, we've been the toast of the league for 12 years. Maybe LA, Boston and Cleveland are better now...but you didn't hear that from me.

I think that the Spurs organization will continue to use and abuse the three of us (Tony and Tim). Until Duncan retires this organization will milk every last ounce of worth right out of us without any real help. However, I can only hope and pray (I guess not pray, actually) that there will be changes in the role-players because, as you may have noticed, our role players suck ass.

I would not say that this was a bad year for me, , if nothing else I'm $8,000,000 richer, so every day is a good day.

But, in case you didn't catch it when I said it before, I spent a lot of time in the pool, lifting weights, on the bike, and hanging on the beach with the hotties. But next year, when I'm healthy, look out es! I believe I can even carry this bunch of geriatrics to the le if that's what I'm stuck with, because, I am, SuperMan-u!

Look for me on Facebook, and I'll Twitter about how I'm sipping champagne on some private beach somewhere. Then I'll return to Argentina where I guess I'll honor my commitments to various charities...blah...blah...blah. It's good to be a gangsta!

I was really angry to be eliminated without being able to play. It was ugly.

    by Manu

    Translation by urunobili

SAN ANTONIO.- Now I am on vacations; before I was as well, but not officially. Anyway, I will be staying in San Antonio 3, 4 more weeks, I have to run some more studies on my foot, to see how the fracture evolved, as per an x-ray taken yesterday, it has shown good progress on its healing. So in the meantime I’ll keep on working on my physical conditioning, cycling, swimming and weight lifting all boring stuff.

The day before yesterday, what I lived on our arena was very tough, especially for me that I saw it from the bench, but I have to withstand it. Truly, Dallas was vastly superior the whole series and won clearly. We missed key shots and they scored psychologically decisive triples. After being 1-3 down in the series I wasn’t surprised with the elimination. I knew it was going to be impossible to turn it around. They got better on every game and we finished pretty beat up.

Regarding my feelings, I had a lot of anger, being eliminated without playing is very ugly. I would have preferred to be on the court collaborating with my teammates. It was something really sad to feel powerless that way. I was really bad, it was tough to digest. For moments I even felt that I have a debt or something like that. And that because after so many years with the franchise and playing together a great compromise comes with that.

This elimination wasn’t like the 0.4 one against the Lakers or the one on the 7th game against Dallas at the end as well. Those were painful. This one is bitter, ugly. On top of that we lost with our great Texan rival and there were a lot of expectations at the arena. Here people always want to beat the Lakers because they’re like Boca (tn: one of the Biggest Argentinean Soccer clubs) the strong and popular team; but against Dallas is like losing the neighborhood classic. Luckily the crowd was 10 points. There was neither whistling nor booing. It wasn’t an ovation either but we left the place being applauded. It was an intense moment.

I don’t know what will happen next year. San Antonio doesn’t have a high draft pick, but I guess that changes will come. I don’t think the structure will be altered because we just finished 3rd in the west and we only lost 2 more games than we did last year on the regular season. What happened is that we were not healthy. Tony missed some games; Tim played while on pain many times and I wasn’t there myself more than ever.

I know its being talked everywhere already that the Spurs should refurbish, but I don’t think a lot will change. It has been like 12 years being right on top and the franchise is really cautious; but if we see the growth of the Lakers, Boston and Cleveland truth is we are not that close.

I think that they will keep taking advantage of us three (TP, TD and I). I don’t think that a reconstruction like other teams do is in the making, at least not until Duncan retires. Probably the changes will come mostly in the role players.

I wouldn’t say it was a bad year for me; indeed it was very different on the physical and mental side. On the game not so much, because while I was active, I played on my level and I also had good numbers maybe with even less minutes.

But it was different because I spent a lot of time swimming and cycling recovering from injuries. More so, I still believe that if we were all healthy we had a chance to fight for the le but I accept that the Lakers and Cleveland could be superior, it was just a matter to see it on the Playoffs.

Now I’ll keep on blogging on Facebook (You have the address down there <ManuGinobili>) I’ll take the opportunity to take some vacations and go back to Argentina to take care of some work that needs to be done for my foundation and UNICEF, but mostly to get on shape and come back to win another ring. I’m spoiled.

Interesting...so he doesn't think much will change, but in reality the Spurs should as even with him healthy, they aren't good as the top 3 teams. Good thing he agrees with the Fans consensus.

Manu Ginobili should have a personal orthopedist for an independent advice, that is not influenced by the vested interests of the Spurs and Argentina's national team to play him no-matter-what.

There is still one and only Manu in this world.

    Get well champ!
