    Should be good.

    Yao vs Pau/Bynum
    Scola vs Odom
    Artest/Ariza
    Battier/Kobe
    Brooks/Fish

    Some good matchups all around.

At this point, i think Artest's defense has slipped, especially against quicker perimeter players like a Kobe or even a Wade. Hes more suited to guard bigger forwards like a Carmelo, or a LeBron (not that anyone can stop him), or a Paul Pierce - where he can use his still above average quickness and strength, to neutralise their advantages.

So, what im trying to say is, i think you will see alot more Battier on Kobe than Artest. Given his recent success, and Kobes recent torchings of Ron.

The last time the Lakers played in Houston Kobe destroyed both Artest and Battier so I'm not sure either will be able to control him but I agree Battier has the better chance at this point.

Lakers in 5...6 if Houston gets lucky.

    Denver over Dallas in 7.

Other matchups still to be determined.

Keep Artest and his mouth away from Kobe. Battier does a better job anyway.

Lakers better not come out with the pansy effort from the bench... This isn't Utah anymore.
And honestly, Houston doesn't have anything to lose. Let's hope they don't just get relaxed now that they moved out of the first round and make this a great series...

There won't be any sweep you y Laker Ho's.

This game will be won by defense like every other Championship. Lakers better offensive pace while Rockets better defensive pace.

Offensive ratings: Lakers 110.7 Rockets 105.2
Defensive ratings: Lakers 88 Rockets 98.6

    Defense wins Championships

good finding, I also think the Rockets will beat the Lakers in the second round and face the Mavs in WCF, though the Rockets won't move forward by one more step though. Rockets in 7.

The Lakers have better defensive statistics than the Rockets in both the regular season and the playoffs.
