Good job Denver. I notice a lot of Spurs fans trolling/talking trash about the Mavs because they beat the Spurs in the first round but then lost this game. As far as I'm concerned, there's no reason to trash talk against Dallas with this game. Dallas was the underdog in the series vs. the Spurs but got by because Manu was out, so we shouldn't be holding them to a 2nd round team standard because in reality the Spurs would have been in the 2nd round if Manu played. So, Denver just went out in this game and did what they were supposed to do, nothing shocking about today's game. No reason to trash talk Dallas, no one expected them to even be in the 2nd round much less win a 2nd round game. Denver is the favorite in this series and I think Denver will be able to compete with LA in the WCF's because they play good defense.

This is a different Denver team with Billups, so they just went out and did what they were supposed to do.

As I stated after the first round series with Dallas ended, Dallas didn't do anything spectacular in the first round, their shots just went in at the right times. What happens if they don't make their shots? I think that question was answered today. They have no back up plan, they'll throw up shots and if they go in, they go in. But what if they don't? Then what? I wouldn't count on anymore B.S. shots from Barea or Bass in this series, Denver is much stronger defensively than the Spurs were without Manu and with Bowen's reduced role. Dampier had 3 points, Barea had 4 points, and Bass had 2 points in this game. I thought the bench players were supposed to be what made this team a real 2nd round team? I guess not. Again, no trash talking here.

Good job Denver. They just went out and did what they were supposed to do. Looking forward to the Lakers/Nuggets series next round.

What did the Spurs do wrong? You told us that Bonner+Finlet for J-Ho was a fair trade. Why did both those guys the bed?

SD is so ing annoying, he always just says the same . "A team just make their shots" "They just did what they're supposed to do". I remember SD saying how the Spurs were still going to win the West even without Manu and now every time he comments he uses Manu as the excuse, moron.

The Mavs are just a fluke team that is only in the second round because of lucky, fluke wins over a hobbled Spurs team. The Nuggets were just shooting some shots...just beating a team they were supposed to beat...no surprises there. Mavs have no shot...none...Nuggets in 5, max.

The Mavs played pretty well until the 4th quarter then it they fall apart. I'm not expecting that much from the Mavs in the series. I just hope they win at least one game. I feel sorry the Nuggets and their fans. Their dream is going to end in the WCF. The Nuggets this year remind me a lot of the 2004 Timberwolves. KG and the Wolves had never gotten out of the 1st round and they finally did in 2004. They had the best record in the conference and had homecourt in the WCF but couldn't take advantage and they wound up losing the series in 6. The Nuggets won't have the homecourt if they play the Lakers in the WCF.

    2008-2009 Nuggets = 2003-2004 Timberwolves

There you go again with this sweep . I don't know of anyone that predicted a sweep and if someone did, he/she was delirious or kidding.

Stop being dumb. I've heard some Mavs fans on this board say, "Eh Denver will probably still win but at least we beat the Spurs," quite the contrary to a sweep prediction. I don't think any Mavs fans predicted sweep unless you were taking Rogue or BUMP to serious.

i don't know about that. he's 'trolling,' per se, but i got a kick out of imagining he actualy believes this (he sells that quite well).

if hes timvp (or some other poster's troll), well, its just not funny anymore. It never really was, like I said, the comedy was in the fact it seems like he actually believes this .
