slowing the game down definitely helps your case big time. There is a reason why Phoenix always is last in defense. They give their opponent to much time to score. Cleveland does the opposite but at the same time u have to play good defense to win a championship and they havent shown me they can do thatso you're saying all the nba team's solution to being a good defensive team is just to slow the game down. just wow.

No offense dude, but saying this simply means that winning basketball games= slowing the game down.. so any team in the nba can win a game by wasting 23 seconds of the shot clock before taking a shot?
they are always last because they have nash and amare on the floor 95% of the time. seriously do you even watch basketball?
+1 major props to the celtics for winning the le last year but to say the least, the celtics are built to contend for only a couple of seaons. 3 seasons max. without their big three, the celts are bs.

Actually, I'm pretty happy with what Big Baby Davis showed in this series. He's got a decent jumper, and surprisingly quick hands.
Rondo is already one of the better PG's (in the top ten I'd say) and will continue to get better.
Perkins is.. well, he's a decent big man, and that's better than having a sucky one heh.
Pierce, Allen and KG are definitely not getting younger, and we better hope we get lucky in the lottery three or four years from now. I think a little lottery luck is due, after missing out on Tim Duncan and Kevin Durant.
And of course, we'll have to keep Scalabrine for the transition from old to young...
Big Fat Baby is putting up incredible numbers out there. and Perkins is playing like Hakeem. IMO this madnees can't keep going for too long. with all their starters playing close to 40mpg, Celtics will start to break down and will get crushed eventually.
Repeat? Maybe on NBA 2K9 for xbox 360. The season is already over for the Celts. The question is when will it end. This round or the next. My money is it ends this series against the Magic.

i hate boston but they are certainly capable of making it to the finals again.

Celtics will not have a chance to win the LOB without Garnett, IMO.
Celtics won't win the Finals without Garnett, they can't beat Cleveland or the Lakers in a seven game series right now.
