    And LA has Bynum.

We should also learn to win without any of the big 3.

    And Kobe is dirty...

Their role players are alot better than ours, our role players are pure shyt or old as dirt!!!! Duncan and Tony are fine, outside of that this year? SHYT, just pure shyt. Spurs need to get younger and play guys like Houston does out there. Spurs system only plays older guys it seems lately, whether talent or not they don't develop people enough. Pop needs to get Hill out there more and Ian etc. next year, along with Mason at his true spot! They might also bring in GIST who will help ALOT IMO, he will help out on D and boards and putbacks. Spurs need to do something NOW to compete again, it's that simple. Spurs should learn from this outing, I hope to GOD they do.

I don't know about this series. It's great LA might lose, but I'd rather see Artest here in SA and for that to happen, I think he needs a reason to jump ship.

Lakers have a 94mi salary, with Lamar being FA, and kobe being able to opt out this summer, expect fireworks if they don't make it pass the second round!!!

I would love to watch that.

Although I can't root for the Rockets, a Lakers fanbase meltdown would be epic (especially with them being heavily favored), but that's still a tall order.

Now onto the only game where I actually have a reall rooting interest:
    GO HAWKS!!!

Still, we would all know (including T-Mac) that the only way he contributed was by sitting his ass down. T-Mac can buy as many rings as he wants. He'll know HE didn't win anything.

Houston has unbelievable chemistry , great energy , a deep bench and a flexible defense ... key ingredients to a championship team . Spurs lack all of that except great chemistry ... they simply do not have the players to do what Houston has done to Portland and LA , it's not about finding ways ...

Odom , a thorn in the Spurs' back because of his length , was a non-factor tonight because the Rockets have various people that can contain him ... this has been hole in the Spurs' defense for quite some time now .

    Houston plays defense...

Something Pop has ignored going with Mason Finley and Bonner as a big part of our team.

it's actually pretty crazy what Pop and the players have been able to do defensively and competetive wise w/ such old, over-the-hill players though ... i mean last year they had freakin' Oberto and Thomas at the 4/5 and Finley and Barry on the wing , and absolutely no one to bother Odom and they were right there in a couple of games against LA ...

Yeah because they have the great Timmay, Tony and even an injured Manu, that will make things look that much better at times. Pop has gotten by on talent alot of times IMO, not how great of a coach he is.

WTF is up with the kobe and battier gif? I saw Battier's head bleeding a lot on the replays, was it from that?

The gif shows Kobe's early dirty move after Shane stole the ball from him.

The bleeding on Shane's head is a result of another dirty attack by Vujacic. The beauty part is that the refs made no ing call on that.

It didn't look like Vujacic intended to hit Shane like that. Both guys were going for the ball, and Vujacic's arm swung downward in a normal fashion, hitting Shane in the head.

Kobe kneeing Shane in the head looked intentional, but this is the playoffs. Lots of dirty play!

This season it's all about matchups. If Houston drew Dallas, Utah, or even the Spurs in the first round they wouldn't be playiing right now.

If they can get lucky against the Lakers they might go far in the playoffs.

Once Manu is back everything will be back to normal for the Spurs. Spurs only need a couple of roster tweaks. Add a center like Marcin Gortat and an energy guy like Travis Outlaw.

i don't neccessarily believe that ... they're covering the best offensive team in the NBA very well ... there's not a team in the league they can't guard . that'll keep them in a lot of games ... their offense is spotty , but it's good enough with that defense ...

T-mac is a whinning . He has never been able to manage his team pass the 1st round. So when he was out, he must've been praying the Rockets would get knocked out by Portlant.
Too bad, they proved that T-mac was the cancer of their team
