And at the rate of championships since 2003....come 2093, the Spurs will have 45 more les and the Lakers will have 0 more...so what's your point?
It's all good.
But one thing you (and alot of the spurs fans here) have to realize is that comments like "...three rings since 2003..." or "4 rings, got" also causes other fans to roll their eyes just as much as you guys do when Lakers fans act a little over-confident.
The Lakers have one of the richest histories in the NBA. So does the Spurs.
So let's talk about the games being played and forget the idiot remarks like, "Stern did his best to guarantee you guys a ring and you still failed.." shall we?
Quite honestly, I don't get into all this smack talk but how do you feel when a Mavs fan or a Suns fan say the spurs are a cheating franchise for tanking a season to get Duncan in the draft?
You probably think it's more whining by an over-the-hill fan of a franchise that's not going to see any more rings in their future for quite awhile.
It's the same feeling I get when spurs fans say things like....."We hate you because the NBA tries desperately through the boys in stripes to give you games to help them make more money. But the truth is..you STILL lose. "
So I say again....can't we all just get along?

The Lakers are my second favorite team. I'm a big Kobe fan and Kobe apologist. I lived in So Cal for two years. I consider myself a Laker fan second to being a Pistons fan. I own three Lakers jerseys (Magic, Van Exel, Kobe 8). But, ass Laker fans annoy me.
