    The Lakers are clearly scared. All the antics prove it. The Rockets won game one and had a legit chance to win game 2, in LA. LA knows they are on shaky ground, hence the 8th grade tactics.
    Yeah they had a chance but it was more of what the Lakers stop doing in the second quarter.I'm used to seeing the Lakers taking big leads and eventually giving them up and giving the other team some confidence. It shouldn't have come down to T's and elbows. If the Lakers don't win it this year it's because of guys like FLuke Walton, Sasha Vujabrick, and dan Fartmar. This bench is no where near to being a good bench. They just suck a$$.

    10th time I've read that from a Laker fan in the last 10mins.

    He dropped these points on an injuried defender, and I don't think he will continue dropping that many points in the next games. The 96 drafted Kobe is already old, the future of the league belongs to young players like Kevin Durant and other Thunders.

    The Rockets are a good backup center away from beating these Laker s. Morey get Shaq on this team! Our half-court offense suits him better than the Suns' does.

    At the risk of sounding like SD the only reason the Rockets are in this series is because they hit fluke ing shots left and right.

    If there was a statistic for most shots made with less than 1 second on the shot clock they would lead the league. That one play where Yao threw up a blocked shot from behind his head and scored just emphasizes this. They are due for some cold shooting, and when that happens they will lose big.

    you actually are SD Jeff, it's not a matter of sounding like only. The Rockets did hit some fluke shots in the first round, but it still sound clueless to consider a 4-2 knock-out a pure fluke. Rockets had total control of the series against the Blazers, even the two loses included.

    And he can get T'ed.

    He's not going to get in Battier's head.

    This is exactly what the Lakers don't want. They're going to see a ferocious 12th man in Houston for Game 3.
    Which is saying something since we generally have one of the worst home crowds in the league. But as if it wasn't already going to be on and popping because the Lakers themselves were coming, now it'll be hype and Kobe and Fish will get a nice boo (at least) every time they get the ball.

    Jordan = class

    Kobe = classless

    That's one of the many reasons there's no comparison. Hopefully, Stern eventually figures out that Kobe's narcissitic ways are bad for the NBA and quits accommadating him.
    LOL at Jordan being Class. He was but he certainly had his moment. Generally though, they were with his own team. He was so compe ive, he became a B---- sometimes. Ask Steve Kerr and Bill Cartwright.

    I hope Artest won't try to get payback, because we need him on both defense and offense. Kobe may his pants before tip off though.

    Game 3 should be a good game in Houston.

    STEP UP TO THE PLATE. Don't be some got that talks . You're live pretty close. Go and do it. Don't talk about it. Show us how much of a pussy he is.

    Kobe is not scared of Artest because he does not think artest is crazy Im more afraid for him than he is ...

    But lets say Artest slugs him he is done ...after the Detroit fiasco ...
    Ron won't slug him.

    Ron is going to do his talking on the court by winning the game.

    The problem is that Artest didn't lose control. You don't want to be in Kobe's shoes when Artest DOES lose control.
    It shouldn't have been more than a T. There was not altercation and players argue and get on each other faces all the time.

    But it is what it is. I expect Kobe to get fined, and simply move on.

    Getting yourself ejected = losing control.

    Ron Artest is nuts and Kobe knows exactly how to push his buttons.

    When you get yourself thrown out of a playoff game for just talking you are crazy.

    Ehhh no. That one is on Joey. I'll be surprised if he even gets fined.
    And FWIW, he doesn't get ejected if that happens in Houston.
