So, whaddayathink?
It's all about the Iphone my friend. Get an iphone and jailbreak that and do as you please. I'm addicted to it like heroin.
Its those damn apps man, some of the games are so simple but yet addicting.
the beat maker app is the .
I think you need to get yourself an iPhone.
I've been playing with OS 3.0 and it gets quite a bit better...
I've played around with both the G1 Android and iphone 2 and there was absolutely no difference in what they were able to do. Every iphone app also exists for Android.
I use Google for everything and I full on drink the haterade when it comes to any and all Apple products. So with evident bias, you can guess where I stand on whether there is any advantage to owning an iphone.
On top of that, I'm a fan of the physical keyboard.
(Though I haven't seen the 3.0 iphone build)
new google phone (g1 series) will not have the physical keyboard though....but from what I've seen, it might look exactly like the iphone.
Thanks
I heard the Google Phone may be a good cross between the Iphone and the BBerry
Thanks too
Quit talking out your ass as it stands now Iphone has so many more apps that are not yet available for Android although that is subject to change. Apps continue to flood in for Iphone due to the amount of units being sold.
Regarding OS 3.0 its worthless ive already been doing all of the included in 3.0 for months now. Camcorder, copy and paste, send photo text messages, voice recorder etc and for $0 out of pocket.
Everytime I see an IPhone commercial I always ask myself the same question, "Who the uses these apps, seriously who?"
BTW, I heard a new Iphone would be released in June 2009

Just got the HTC Magic (my touch) and all I can say is that this phone kicks a lot of ass. Very similar to the Iphone but running off Android. Linux >>>>>>>>>>Mac os
?
btw, i desperately need to buy a new phone soon!
Android is the OS the mytouch (HTC MAGIC) uses. It was developed by google so thats pretty much why this is the "google" phone(It is a Linux based OS). This phone is very similar to the iphone but better IMO. When they were advertising it they called it the IPHONE killer. Who is your provider?
my provider is crappy ass sprint...
when i was with my current ex i turned my camera phone into a none camera phone by chucking it across thousand oaks rd. haha. i'm surprised the phone survived but damn is it in horrible shape.
Well Sprint has the HTC Touch Pro, but its Windows based.
The Palm Pre uses Palm's webos which is basically linux
from what I have seen thats a pretty nice phone.
i gots one and it is
Palm pre's are a good start for that OS. Not at all an iPhone killer. I was an iPhone hater til I actually played around with one. G1 better than the iPhone ..........![]()
now thats comedy. The palm pre, I'm sure, has the iPhone team sweating a little. I've played with those and I liked the os alot. The Pre was a hurry-and-get-this-out-and-show-apple-we're-coming-for-your-market-share. Good start and I'm very interested on the next gen of the pre. Apple better start "borrowing" from the pre's OS.
G1 better than the iPhone

I dont have the G1, I have the new one HTC(Magic), or Tmobile is calling it the Mytouch.
I think its better than the Iphone but they are very similar.

Yeah. I've checked out the mytouch. Not that impressed. Cosmetically it's nice though.
Oh and Pre's are $80 at walmart. Don't know if that's for new customers though.
Why do you think it's better?
Well its similarities are pretty close to what the ipod can do. Its more customizable, you can buy spare batteries for your phone (which is something I have done the last 2 phones). Memory is expandable. Its still young on the apps but has a lot that the iphone has (Except they are free for android). Plus I trust Linux more than Apple.
what turned you off?
