    Was having a conversation with a friend (a Laker fan, ugh) about how when the Spurs lose to a team in the playoffs, the team that beats them ends up losing in the next round and of course, almost never wins it all.

    Call it: The Curse of beating the Spurs in the playoffs. ? !

    Considering the Spurs are the LAST NBA champions from the Western Conference, and now Dallas is 0-2 and on it's way out --- is the curse real ? ? ? !


    SPURS CURSES ? ? ?

    1994–95 Lost to Rockets who became NBA Champions

    1995–96 Lost to Utah (Utah loses next round)
    1996–97 No Playoffs. Roulette lands on Tim Duncan.
    1997–98 Lost to Utah (Utah loses in NBA Finals)

    1998–99 Spurs NBA Champions

    1999–2000 Lost to Phoenix (Phoenix loses next round)

    2000-2001 Lost to NBA Champions Lakers
    2001–2002 Lost to NBA Champions Lakers

    Oh a female, that's different. There are some damn good looking 'female' Laker fans but, I can't say much about the guys. I do enjoy Jack Nicholson's films though.
