I'm sure Andrew Bynum has missed 4 seasons already. Congrats face.

at least no surgery is required. yao at full strength was pretty impressive, would have liked it to see the rockets give the lakers their all.

Kamikaze doesn't understand what It's like when You can never have the CORNERSTONE of your entire team healthy for a season...just once.
Dude, I like the Rockets, Yao and Mcgrady, when healthy are top 15 players in the NBA. I feel bad for the Rockets, Yao is only 28, T-mac is 29, and Artest i think is 27-28, they are about to enter their primes. And seriously, no one thought the Rockets we're going to go far in the playoffs this year so appreciate that. But next year, they will be better and they will go deep.
I'm not sorry. At least we can ACTUALLY concentrate on our future right now. Maybe this will open the organization's eyes. He was avging just 33 minutes this season. Not muc you can do about that.
Thnx for the nice words. But to me, there is no more Yao and Mcgrady. They should have taken Magic's advice when he said the experiment was over 3 years ago
Hey mang! Joo forget how tu espeek engleech?
Too big for his own good. Unfortunate.
Credit Yao for playing through pain yesterday. His body is just too big to play big minutes. The problem for the Rockets is that he will have to be a max player for business purposes, but his basketball value won't be that if he plays 30 minutes a game. The biggest outcome of this, besides Yao's loss, is that Artest probably won't come back and McGrady will. So, it will be on McGrady. Again. That worked out well....
I noticed him limping during the last game. Sucks for him and Houston. McGrady still hasn't reached the second round.
So, Lakers vs. Nuggets. That sounds violent.
Nope Mac will demand a trade and Artest will walk. T-Mac wasted arguably one of the best years of his career in 04-05. Not by stats, but he was simply unstoppable that year and more effective. T-Mac had only missed one playoff series prior to this year and he could carry them all by himself. This organization needs some MAJOR retooling.,
When I saw that game 4 prices were at $55 i knew Yao was done.
Sonova ...this sucks. Well seems like we were destined for the season we had. Big man breaks foot in playoffs. Rockets doomed. Wait till next year when T-Mac comes back or we get a new impact player.
Props to Yao. Way to gut it out last night and playing on a broken foot. Sorry we didn't have any guards with any kind of basketball IQ to get you the ball.
You need an at ude adjustment.
T-Mac coming back?!?!?
Why the would he want to come back? He only has 2-3 years of actually playing left. I bet you anything he is going to be gone. Artest will walk and we will win 12 games next year. Nothing wrong with that. We will get the #1 pick though![]()
02-03 was t-mac's best year ever
I said one of. You are actually 100% correct, he led the league in efficiency that was off the charts. But what I mean is that skill wise. When he came to Houston i noticed how much a good passer he was. He let the game come to him. Avgd 27ppg or so but It was in the good way. Not like Artest getting 27ppg.
A lot of big men like Yao have had chronic foot problems. At least medical science has extended the careers of these big men today. If Bill Walton had the medical help that we have today, he would have had a much longer career. That being said, I too am in favor of holding Yao's minutes to under 30 minutes or so. What we really need is another big man who can hold down the fort while Yao is on the bench. That Shaq/Zo combination in Miami was really good for them. So if we can pickup another big in the same mold as Zo, that would really help the center position for the Rockets. We also need to get a guard who has some common sense and can pass the ball instead of being a chucker.
Under 30 minutes?>?!?!? Dude wtf, we won't win any games that way. That doesn't work out. We are putting ourselves in a really bad position that way.
This really pisses me off, I was rooting for the Rockets so hard. I think you guys have been getting wronged on the officiating too.
I love you Indazone. Another big scoring Center? Sounds kind of rare. Maybe we should get another big scoring SF like Lebron next to tmac too.
Thnx for the kind words. I always make it a point to root for tx teams as well. I think the officiating was ok, with the exception of artest's treatment. Lakers are simply better, good luck to them as well.
