I kinda agree with #3, jus kinda looked lik a reach that made lil contact, not enough to be called!
For #1, if Dirk hit that lil jump fade (like he has many times) Melo's shot wouldn't have mattered!
The Spurs have endured some very controversial losses over the last few years, and our beloved Mavs fans have been there to give us moral support each time. So after this tough loss to Denver, I thought I should return the favor. So I dug up some of their old comments and re-cycled them.
Here, Mavs fans, in your own words, are some helpful thoughts to get you through this difficult time. Isn't karma a ?
6. Even if the Mavs had won this game, they still would have no chance at winning the series. They just aren't as good. Get over it.
5. If the Mavs hadn't missed their free throws down the stretch, that last shot wouldn't have mattered.
4. The Mavs didn't lose the game on the last shot. They were 40% from the floor. That's what lost the game for them.
3. The refs don't decide the outcome of games.
2. There was no foul at the end of the game - take your homer glasses off.
1. Stop whining you pussies. Melo made his shot, and Dirk missed his. You lost the game. End of story.

Fail
Mavs got 49 freaking free throws...they missed 9....Try missing 7 next time...
Please don't ever compare the disappointments, failures, and heart breaking losses of the Mavs to the Spurs. There is no comparison. Spurs fans have been spoiled this decade with championships. Mavs fans have nothing except a division le and a western conference championship this decade.
Weak thread from a bitter, vengeful, insecure fanbase.
Tonight was hilarious. _allas shot 100 FTs tonight and only had like 20 fouls called on them but are pissed about not getting called for an intentiaional foul called at the end.
Only in _allas.![]()
That look on Wrights face is priceless. He just knows the shot is going in
So where did the karma come from that caused the Spurs to lose to the Mavericks in the first round?
What is Dwayne Casey doing? LOL
The irony of a one-word post saying "Fail", with a great big Dallas Mavericks logo under it, is almost too much. But I digress...
The truth is, I was screaming at the TV over that last no-call just as much as some of the ones that have gone against the Spurs. I can't stand Mark Cuban, but I don't blame him for being pissed. He's invested millions in his team, only to watch an all-important playoff game be taken away by the referee(s). There is no defense nor excuse for an official refusing to call an intentional foul in that situation.
I took a tongue-in-cheek stab at some of the Dallas trolls who have been so brutal when the Spurs have gone through the same thing. (It's probably too much to hope that they will remember next time it's somebody else's team getting screwed.) It sucks to have something like this happen. It sucks worse to have people talk about every other missed shot or free throw in the game, as if that last shot was immaterial.
The fact is, it doesn't make a rat's ass if the Mavs missed free throws, or dunks, or anything else. Missed shots are part of the game. They battled through all of that, and earned a shot at a W in that game. News flash! Yes - the refs can take a game away from a team with a single call. Because if the game is close enough for a single call to make the difference, both teams have earned an opportunity to win - no matter how many opportunities they may have blown. And the game shouldn't be decided by a zebra playing fast and loose with the rules.
Not all Mavs fans are trolls, by a long shot, and I feel for them. But to the ones who insisted that Brent Barry didn't get fouled, or that it didn't matter... the ones who said that the Spurs' missed FT's lost the game... the ones who said that it didn't matter how long Derek Fisher's shot took - he made it... I hope all of you enjoy the summer re-runs of Fishing With Dirk.
From trying to offer Ian for Sheed.
Then Detroits karma was not accepting it.
It is a vicious cycle.
Lol Detroit sucked far before any alleged mid season trades involving Rasheed.
Laker fans have the corner on the "bitter, vengeful, insecure" fan market, so STFU.
That was a Ghazi thread, his threads are irrelevant![]()
You have no right to call anyone else irrelevant after these little nuggets of :
Why don't you just him and get it over with?
Congrats to GSH for mastering the art of searching past posts and being able to quote them...your still a pussy hurt who's team lost to a mavs team 4-1 who is about to get swept by the Nuggets
