Congrats to the Rockets for showing up to play today!they could've folded but they fought and managed to get a win.
Today we know at least one professional basketball team in the state of Texas shows up to play no matter how bleak it may appear! Props Rockets.....just keep on doing what you're doing!
The way the Lakers are playing, they will not pass the Western Conf Finals when/if they face the Nuggets. They don't have the intensity or focus to win a championship. I've seen championship Laker teams, and this is not one.

As for the bashers here both for and against LA ...kobe said.. it best the Laker teams that many think have been the most dominant since MJ's Bulls lost a 3-1 lead vs. Portland in the WCF and lost a 2-0 lead vs the Kings that same year before winning in 7 and 5 games respectively.
We lost a great opportunity to squeeze the life out of the ROX and I blame Phil, Walton and Gasol for that. Gasol had a great stats game (TImvp that is why stats mean hore ) but when we needed him MOST whe the ROX where rolling Gasol was no where to be found except whining to the refs ...
Phil at that time pulled that lets let them figure tis out crap which does work at times but you could tell the ROX were hungry Lakers were not FREAKING DO SOMETHING ANYTHING!!!
Luke threw the ball away 3 out of 5 possessions when we had a chance to make a run, yes he is a great passer but he did not adjust to the way the rox where defending pnr without Yao ...
But I will say this if the Lakers are serious about being champions we win this in 6 and bea the Nuggets in 6 or less as well. cleveland is playing well but it's gainst dog compe ion but give them credit they are taking care of business ...
I do not feel very confident that we are going to win the le but I believe we do have the talent but can we sty tough when it counts. Can Gasol and Odom be big when it counts?

The Rockets aren't going to win this series but they have exposed a lot of weaknesses in this Laker team that show IMHO they aren't ready to win a championship yet.
Still not convinced that the Denver Nuggets can beat the Lakers though. Something about that team, whether it be George Karl or Carmello Anthony, just doesn't allow me to see that happening. They don't really have anyone to stop Kobe or a speedy PG that will kill Fisher so the Lakeshow should be OK.

How long have you been a Laker fan? You cannot say that your team has won 14 Championships if you've only been a fan of the Lakers for a few years
+1 My wife and I have been Spurs fans since DRob joined the team in 1989, and we have enjoyed all 4 championships as Spurs fans. Hopefully there will be more to come, and soon, but we feel blessed to have seen 4 NBA les for the Spurs.
The Lakers have 14 championships but have also lost the Finals the most by any team. The Lakers have lost the Finals 15 times. The Lakers will win game 5 then the Rockets will win game 6 forcing a hyped up money making game 7 courtesy of Stern and co.
I've personally been alive for and enjoyed 8 Laker championships.
