i see the spurs giving bosh a 6 year 90 million contract in 2010
Raptors just signed a 3 year deal with Triano ........ Ugh...........
I'm not sure how long CB4 can put up with that

I certainly hope not. He is not a franchise player imo. A very good player, but completely over-hyped.
however if u get him along side timmay, itz surely gonna cause some havoc..
Well, I think he is a great player; Raps have had a lot of injuries this season; plus, firing Mitc was re ed
Yes, if you can get him next to Tim he would help. But that is impossible because someone will pay him max money and he is not worth it. Once Tim retires, having Bosh at the max would suck.
Does Dwyane Wade’s future depend on LeBron?

The short answer is…maybe.
Have you noticed how all of this LeBron-to-the-Knicks talk has died down as the Cavs put up the best record in the NBA this season? That’s because Cleveland is a favorite to make the Finals, and with the way the Lakers are struggling against the Rockets out West, the Cavs are looking more and more like an NBA champion. If they do manage to win a le this year (or next), it will be very difficult for LeBron to jump ship without looking like a total a-hole. So he won’t. If he wins a ring, he’ll stay in Cleveland.
So the Knicks will have to look elsewhere for their superstar — enter Dwyane Wade. As Dave Hyde of the Sun-Sentinel writes, the Big Apple would be an attractive destination for Wade.
The Knicks have the money. They have the allure. They have coach Mike D’Antoni’s fun style. They can tell Wade he would revive Knicks basketball and get the kind of spotlight only New York offers such stars. Who wouldn’t be tempted by all that?So Hyde advocates that instead of waiting for 2010 and trying to add a star big man like Chris Bosh or Amare Stoudemire while at the same time re-signing Wade, the Heat should go ahead and trade Michael Beasley to Toronto for Bosh this summer.
So there’s the Armageddon scenario for the Heat: It advances only slightly next year, misses on Bosh, has the Knicks singing a siren song to Wade … and loses him. It’s an attractive scenario to wait until 2010 and add Bosh to a lineup that includes Wade and Beasley. But there’s a good chance that Bosh could sign with Cleveland or that the Knicks could come in and steal both Bosh and Wade away from the Heat. Why risk a future with Wade for the promise of Beasley? While it sounds a little crazy to trade a young player with a ton of upside for a guy you might be able to sign outright the next summer, it’s risk versus reward. A Wade/Bosh combo would guarantee the Heat would compete in the East for the next five years. Throw in the steady Udonis Haslem, a more mature Mario Chalmers and a small forward to be named later, and Heat would have a nice lineup. But the biggest reason the Heat should acquire Bosh is that it will almost guarantee that Wade re-ups as well.
If you’re Riley, do you risk that? All for Beasley, who, much as I like him, posed as many questions as answers this season? Even Wade, who measures his words, allowed as to how Beasley frustrated him at times with the immaturity.
The best way to sign Wade this summer is to offer concrete evidence he can win big here. That means landing his friend, Bosh. They were Olympians together. They share the same agent. They respect each other greatly.
That’s why the smartest move to make is trading the salary-matching pair of Beasley and Mark Blount to Toronto for Bosh.
Now the question is — will the Raptors go for it?

Ooooops
Wrong thread
I can't delete my post
well you can probably say that he is defintly a 20 10 guy which is what we need,a guy that has 3 point range i never liked his defense though
i do agree he is not someone to build a team around with but who is these days
i do hope that we land aldridge someday alongside bosh![]()
Scratch that![]()
I put Bosh in the "Boozer" category. Good offense, good rebounding, poor defense/shot blocking not really a true franchise player.
Dirk>>>>>>>>>Bosh and Dirk is not really that main guy. Dirk is very close, but he is not a Duncan or Shaq.
sounds better to me than splitter
Bosh is very much an Antawn Jamison kind of player. Gives you 20/10 every game, but has very little impact because of his defense and general knowledge of the game.
I say pass even if there is a chance to sign him. But the thing is, the Spurs have no chance to begin with.
If bosh wanted to come here for the max, we would have to be happy with that. Face it there will never be another Tim Duncan or Shaquille O'Neal.
Is this a joke. Many people question whether or not Bosh is a winner. He does not block/alter shots, he is not great at help defense and he is not a great decision maker in defensive pick and roll situations.
Nelly also uses SJax at PF/C, that does not make him one. Bosh would have been used the same way. Except with worse results because Bosh has the same inside short comings as Dirk and does not have the range Dirk has.
And so the dig for fool's gold commences.
MB and others are correct, this is not a possibility anyways, so why talk.
unless we pull off a blockbuster trade in 2010 to get aldridge and ferndez this is most likely going to be the guy the spurs to go after
spurs arent really to excited about 2010 like 2004 when they dudnt seem to care about who they would get
One of the most overrated players in the NBA.
Redirect to Mavs, please.
LOL, he has almost no defensive game despite hs quickness. He is too weak to defend the post, and he rarely guards the other teams best man. His rotations were terrible (could be attributed to the clueless staff up in Toronto), and he has no idea on the defensive side of the court about half the time.
THere is a reason the Raptors are below average in defense (based on OPP FG%) in all but Bosh's rookie season. They finished in the bottom 5 twice in the last 5 years, and only better than top 20 once (#15 in 2007-08)
Bosh + Bargs = terrible defense.
I would rather have lebron james. He could be like the next MJ of the nba.
Who wouldnt?I dont think they would be talking about bosh if lebron was a possibility.
