Melo with the offensive board and putback at the buzzer! Story of the series for Dallas....they've gotten killed on the boards by Denver in this series. 10-point lead for the Nuggets at the half.

The Spurs, even these crippled Spurs, wouldn't have gotten swept by the Nuggets. Got damn Mavs play like the 1999 Spurs against the Spurs and like the 2001 Spurs against everyone else.

They scored what 5 points on one possession when they should have only scored 2 max? LOL...lame. Doesn't matter Denver is just better...Mavs might as well just lose

Denver would have beat ya'll in 5...makes no difference. Only proves how bad the Spurs suck

Stop with this "Mavs wereonly built to beat the Spurs" bull .

I guess the Lakers are built to beat the Spurs too because they beat em in 04 and 08 but didn't win it all?

Yup...without Manu and with a hobbled Tim Duncan, the Spurs definitely struggled...if they were healthy, they would be playing the Nuggets right now. Don't worry, Mavs...we have a boat ready for you...

Slow down the pace, keep the game close and Karl and the Nuggets unravel. It will eventually happen in these playoffs.

    Hopefully.

LMAO @ a spur fan ridiculing his own team, at least boys in blue made the second round. Well that's not quite different either, it's almost the same for spurs to quit in the first round or get beaten in finals. We are on the same boat, which is sailing to an island where we both will have to retool ourselves.

If Dallas had a scoring big inside this would be a different series. You just can't try to outrun Denver. They will beat you everytime.

I love how Duncan averages 20/8/3 on 53%, SAYS that the pain in his knee had gone away, has a top 5 PER rating for the playoffs, yet gets an injury excuse? The only thing he did poorly that series was shoot free throws. If he's playing, he's healthy enough.

That's when the Mavs unravel too though. LA will make quick work of Denver in the WCF.

They really werent built to beat anyone. If the Spurs were healthy, we all know what would have happened. If the Clippers were healthy, the Mavs dont make the playoffs.
totally agree, a second round appearance isn't quite different from getting snubbed from the playoffs. At least the later one would have brought us a lottery pick, though Donnie wouldn't pick any decent guy even with the no.1 pick.

You mean like Josh Howard??? Fair enough.

But the Spurs didn't have Manu this time around...no Manu, no chance...

Wait a second, I thought Dallas was missing the playoffs?

Why'd you say Spurs in 7 if you knew they were injured?

Their role players' inep ude gets excused because of Manu's injury?

All I can say is at you backpedaling because of past incorrect predictions.

No excuses from me. I think Ginobili healthy would have been a different story, but what we fielded out there outside if TD and TP was horrible.

As far as Dallas goes, at least you have 2006 to look back to...
