I'm calling it now. Mavs in 6.
That's right...you heard me correctly...the 2009 Dallas Mavericks WILL be the first team in NBA history to come back from a 3 games to 0 deficit to WIN THE SERIES. Why do I say this? Because they eliminated the Spurs. In EVERY year since 2003, either the Spurs have won it all, or the team that eliminated the Spurs has made it all the way to the Finals, only to lose to the Eastern Conference Champion. Therefore, the Mavs WILL win this series, WILL beat the Lakers or Rockets in the WCF, and WILL lose to the Eastern Conference Champion in the NBA Finals. It's a done deal. If you want to get filthy ing rich, go lay every dime you have on the Mavs winning the West...it's a 100% guaranteed rock-solid mortal LOCK!

Denver really isn't that good. If they make WCF it would remind me of that Utah team from 06-07. Good team that is one of 4 remaining, but the team you know simply isn't winning a championship. They've been lauded as dark horse contenders by some due to their playoff surge but they're fake.

Yeah, this is a long long long shot.
Mavs have some momentum after last night's victory. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if they give the nuggets a good game and even eek out a victory though I don't see that happening.
