So where in the rulebook does it say that making contact with a guy's cheek with your pinky is a mandatory one game suspension? Don't get me wrong, the NBA could very well suspend him; it wouldn't be the stupidest thing the league office has done in this series. I'm just curious how Josh Howard's contact to the head of Kleiza doesn't warrant at very least the same punishment.
Alston slapped a player who was running away from him in the back of the head. Melo pushed a player off of him who clearly would not let go.
