    You're crazy.

Secondly, we are giving heavy minutes to MATT BONNER. After bonn Bonn, it's KT. There's nothing wrong with KT as a reserve, and the same for Bonner in short bursts. There's no guarantee in Drew Gooden returning, and he isn't exactly the sort of presence on the block that is reassuring on a nightly basis. Furthermore, they are all a bit too small for my liking. I don't see many options as good as these out there at the C position, and it's worth the gamble if the opportunity presents itself with the sort of window the G.P.F.O.A.T has left.

Crazy or not, that's how I feel. I wouldn't care if the Spurs NEVER won another le as long as I don't see this...
(EDIT: Had the same with thing with a 32, forgetting it was retired. )

On the other hand, Shaq as a Spur or Duncan as a Mav? I'd rather they both retired.

I think a guffaw like this warrants a 30 day suspension with a replication for privileges

What do you say midget max?

    "Midget max sys"

How did I not think about that?!?!?!?

    This one's for me...

This would be an awesome idea!!! Tim and Shaq together would be kicking the NBA's ass on a nightly basis. However Shaq would have to be basically healthy all year, and with his age and past wear and tear, it's highly unlikely.

Shaq + Tony owned the All-Star game.

If he wants to get paid cheap for a ring, god bless him.

Spurs will probably choose a 2nd worthless Matt Bonner though. That's how they roll....into the grave.

Not to beat a dead horse, but where was your head at Strike? There's no bus short enough for someone posting stuff like that.

    Meaning this?

    Or this?
I'd rather see Tim Duncan in purple & gold than see Snaq in silver & black.
For the f up with the jersey and the retired number, I can only explain it with a brain fail. Nothing more. I have no excuse for forgetting about the Sean. He's in my top 5 for favorite Spurs all time. I deserve a lump from every Spurs fan on this board for that.

For the quote, I despise "The Big Ate-Yo-Taco" to a degree that there is no reason why I would ever want to see him playing for the Spurs. Nothing in basketball would anger me more except maybe Timmy playing for the Mavericks.

I can at least give you some props for that. If you did something like that and then didn't own up to it, that should be grounds for some serious pinkage.

    Firstly,

He has ties to this city. What ever their validity...he has them.

    Secondly,

Why do people think they can say that Tim Duncan,
    PoP

, or RC have A 'dislike' or 'hatred' for any player...you can't logically conclude anything about a persons thoughts you only know through sound bytes on various media outlets.

    Thirdly,

of all the hair brained scenarios
    i've

    read on
    SPursTalk

    ...
    Iverson

    ,
    Rasheed

    Wallace, Noah,
    ect
    ect
    ect

    THIS seems the most
    plausible
    and
    fruitful
    ..

    Shaq

is a true center and Duncan is a
    Power Forward
    ....
    having them
    both
on the floor would be beyond imagining..

so why, if they want to win championships,
    Wouldn't
    the
    aforementioned
Pop, Tim, or RC CONSIDER the possibilities of getting
    shaq

    ...and
    conversely
why WOULDN'T SHAQ consider a move to the
    SPurs

    if it means
    serious
    contention for a
    championship
...even for 2 or three seasons.

    FINALY

he is due 20 million bucks on his last year and is most certainly going to buy out his contract... and after his earning a
    quarter
of a BILLION dollars already he can out right BUY his last year in CASH...and why would he seek another 20+ million dollar salary...its just not
    feasible
    at his age..

    Shaq

WILL play 3 or 5 more seasons in what ever capacity he can...and if you
    objectively
viewed any of the games he played this year...you would know the guy is still an IMPACT player for stretches....

    Also
    the guy has lost
    alot
of weight since his LA days and seems to be bent on coming
    in at 300
    pds

next season...he wouldn't be doing that if he wasn't bent on getting another ring or two the next few, and his last, season..
THANK YOU... all you people that are so damn negative are always wrong. that would be a powerhouse to have shaq and timmy together. Awesome post Rodney. He explains it more clearly than any of you negative, spoiled spurs fans who think the spurs can not afford anybody.. if boston can afford them, WE CAN. Cavs are the only reasonable fit other than spurs. hornets possibly.. mavs surely cant afford him. SPURS ARE NOT DIRT POOR, we have 3 players getting payed decent, only 1 getting over 20 mill

Money isn't even an issue with me concerning Snaq. He's a fat lazy piece of at the tail end of his career who takes all the credit but none of the blame. When things are going great it's all about him. When things are going ty he's one of the first people to throw others under the bus.

I don't even care if he took the league minimum. I still wouldn't want that in Silver & Black.

How many times do Spurs fans have to get kicked in the balls to get over their holier than thou at ude? Do you guys enjoy getting being humiliated in the first round so much? What about that ass kicking we took in the WCF last year. For years we have been talked about so much as a class franchise that now I think that has got into a lot of our heads. I'll gladly take Shaq. Anything beats watching Tim's career painfully dwindle with the help (or lack thereof) Matt Bonner. That being said i'm a realist and this will never happen.

this would actually be incredibly awesome...instead of battling till the end over whose number one and who will get their 5th, shaq and duncan should simply join forces and destroy all in their path. lol can you imagine that ? we would be beating the out of teams.
    I wholeheartedly agree with poop!?!?!?!?
