Let's not take Denver lightly fellas. Bench or not, length or not, these guys are primed and are ever so confident lest we forget last Sunday's fisaco with H-town. Look at the at ude the Lakers had. I am just concerned that the Lakers will take the Nuggets just a tad bid to lightly and not respect them. This is not the same team from last year and Billups is a proven leader. If our minds are in the ENTIRE games for 4 QUARTERS we should take this in 5 not more than 6. I haven't been to concerned with X's and O's aspect with this Laker squad because on paper we should be crushing everyone not to the extent of what we did to Houston on Tuesday but compete in every game which is something we haven't done on a consistent basis. This is not the early 00's Kobe-Shaq squads that could "turn it on" at a moments notice. Those teams wanted to cut your throat. Not this team. At times they want to play paddy-cake.This team has had to call in it's starters after blowing leads. Not a good sign. Hopefully this ill has been repaired and Phil has conducted damage control.

Lets hope our Lakers show a little more respect towards the Nugz but first, they need to play the Rockets like it's a game 7 of the finals.

i think the lakers turned the corner in game 5. we'll see how they come out tonite but the lakers played like they did to start out the year when everyone including the haters thought the lakers were head and shoulders above everyone else in the west. lets not forget the lakers won the west by about 10 games.

Theres a reason why the Nuggets have looked good this offseason, they've played a New Orleans team that didn't even pack their clothes for the playoffs, and they've played a 1 man squad in Dallas. Let's not forget, the Nuggets should be in Dallas right now if it wasn't for that screwjob in game 3.

You don't magically become better than a team that won like 15 more games than you just because you're beating some teams that quit on themselves already.

*YAWN* Take a good look at the level of opposition your teams faced before you make such comments. Who have the Lakers beaten again? Oh yeah a banged up Utah team that can't even beat a High school Junior Varsity team on the road. Then you have the Rockets, a team that was missing TMac and Mutumbo before Yao went down. So, how have the Lakers fared thus far going up against a team that's missing two all stars now? Not so well me thinks. You know you suck when your getting blown out on the road by a team that has 6"6' Chuck Hayes as their starting center. BTW, Houston is up 9 against your Mighty Lakers in the 4th quarter right now.
